Zofran For Nausea Amp Vomitting

Has anyone been prescribed zofran for nausea & vomitting and delivered a healthy baby? I am 7 weeks and can't keep anything down. I lost 9 lbs and my doctor prescribed zofran (8mg). He also said I could take promethazine (25mg) if the zofran was too expensive. I hate to take anything, but I have been so sick and it don't appear to be getting any better if I don't. Please let me know if you have taken either of these meds. Thanks

I've been on Zofran for about 6 weeks now. I'm 12 weeks pregnant, so hopefully the nausea will go away soon. I know someone who delivered a very healthy baby after being on Zofran. Multiple doctors have told me that it's very safe, and that they prescribe it often. Hope you feel better soon!
