I had the same problem, and over the weekend misscarried... during my daughter's birthday party.. Early signs for me were: brown spotting, turned into a light menstral cycle, then sat. morning, pretty much felt a gush,and was bleeding badly until about 5pm.. They couldn't find my baby's heartbeat like I said at 7wks 2days, when I misscarried I should of been between 9 and 11 wks.. I had some left shoulder pain prior to my misscarriage as well.

I went to the gym and got on the eliptical for 20 minutes today, and the brown discharge came back. THis is so stressful. On one hand, I'm sure everything is ok. I've had an ultrasound a few weeks ago and saw a heartbeat. But on the other hand, I just want it to go back normal already. Grrrrrr.

Yes and No I had that same discharge when I had my ectopic so just look out for any pain in your stomache and pelvic areas. I lost my left tube because of and ectopic and now i am pregnant again hopefully this one be successful!

I am now 21 weeks preggo and have been writing here since my first spotting. I spotted off and on and nothing needed to induce it. I cramped like menstral cramping heavy to light! I even spotted red one day but for the most part it went back and forth from a pink to a brown.......it did'nt stop until my approach into the 2nd trimester but even now my tummy gets hard and what I believe to be Braxton Hicks contractions. They are very light and I see the Dr. every month and he is healthy so I'm not to worried. However, I was freaked out just like how you guys are talking and my prayers are with all of you! I hope you all make it through and I'm sorry for the ones who have already suffered losses! I also hope that once again my posts help! GL Stephanie

Just to update from my earlier post...I had brown spotting that began on Friday (5/27). It has been mild to moderate, and as of today (5/31) pretty steady when I go to the restroom. I went for my ultrasound this a.m. and found out that the baby is not as far along as they originally thought. Orig. 7wks, now saying 5wks 6 days. I am not sure if the baby is truly younger or underdeveloped. More bad news is that the EHR is 91 - 95 (needs to be 110-120). This is not good, so now all I can do is sit around and see if my little one can fight. I have never been more afraid in my life. I can't imagine losing the "heart" inside me. I do not want to discourage any of you, but please do not waste any time before calling your doctor. Good luck to you all. You will be in my prayers!!!

it sounds like a lot of you are having problems. i still don't know if i am but i am praying for you ladies that i hurting. and congradulations on you ladies that consived.i don't mean to upset anybody in this message if yall take it wrong. well i just wonted to drop in and say"hi" and good luck to everybody.

I am going through the same thing as many of you. This baby is my second chance of having a first baby. I found out I was pregnant when I was 5weeks3days (on Monday May 16, 05). I started spotting and cramping on Wednesday of that same week. I was so scared because I miscarried my first baby this year ( I thought everything was ok until I started spotting. That is when I found out that the baby never developed a heart beat. This was very devastating.) On Thursday of the same week, I had menstruation bleedingand on Friday it went back to spotting. I had an Ultra sound done to see if I still had the fetus in me and that was positive. I had another ultra sound in when I 6weeks to find heart beat and that was positive. I am 7 weeks5days now and the spotting has not stoped at all. The spotting ranges from light to heavy, light pink to red to brown. I am depressed, fustrated, scared, because I don't kow what is happening. I have a new symptom now, my cramps a hurting more (it feels like someone is stretching me) and my leg (depending where the cramp is left or right ovarie) starts to hurt me and I get heavy spotting then. IO am so scared because i don't want to lose another baby.

i just called my obgyn and she said that the brown clear stuff just means that i am late. that i should start in one to two days. i don't belive tyhat cause it has been going on since last week. if i was supost to have started i should of already right? my right side is hurting right where my ovary is.does that mean that i have pressure on it or what? it doesn't hurt when i sit it only hurts when i stand. well i will keep yall posted. write me back sombody and tell me if i should worry.

TO SERENA--i also have been experiencing the brown wipes for a week !!!! it seems that in the morning they get pinkish like my af will start but nothing...i am scared to take a test because i dont want a bfn--i am ttc. i was hoping that it was implantation bleeding BUT it has been a week of brown spotting and wipes...so i dont knew if implantation would last this long----anybody have any advice or stories to share about their implantation bleeding...how long did it last, what color, and when did they get a bfp. thanks and good luck to all !!!!!!!!!!!

Esther, I had a friend who miscarried and then got pregnant again a month after, she had all the same symptoms as her first . She bled throughout her second pregnancy and had the same cramping. She never miscarried her second and had a beautiful healthy boy. She is trying for anouther and is scared .I will be trying again in a couple of months and Im scared of even seeing blood or feeling any of the same symptoms I felt with this miscarriage, even if I end up with a healthy baby its still scary. My baby had no heartbeat on my ultrasound last Friday and I started very light brown spotting on Thursday. I had no cramping and I never spotted red blood only brown. Its been just about a week and the only thing I feel is movement( feeling like a baby kicking me in different spots . I know Im going to miscarry,because when I take a pregnancy test the second line is very hard to see meaning my Hcg levels must be dropping. If you see that your baby has a heartbeat your chances of miscarriage drop. At my first v____al ultrasound 6 weeks we could see a heartbeat but it was not strong so the machine did not pick it up. My second ultrasound the machine was different doctor said it wasent strong enough to see a heartbeat (9 weeks). At 12 weeks had no heartbeat. The only things different then my last two pregnancies (which I had two healthy babies) were I felt a pain starting in my pevis and shooting down my leg.It was the day before I found out I was pregnant and returning throughout this pregnancy. I also had no spotting with the others,not even a drop of blood before I went into labor. . This pregnancy my nausea was worse, I was more tierd, walking was leaving me winded. At 11 weeks I started feeling wonderful nausea disapeared, I felt like I could jog a mile.My sister in law says when she found out she miscarried her symptoms all went away. I wish the best for all of you and you will be in my prayers.

I would probably give your doctor a call just to be sure. No need for panic however.

No. I have Three kids and one on the way.5 weeks long.With all my kids I spotted as long as if it doesn;t change to a red color. Make sure you rest. If you are concern call your doctor.

Thank you for your reply. I am hoping that everything will work our well. I am at home now. I am not working because I want to take it easy and rest. I am doing everything I can to keep this baby. When I had the ultrasound done when I was 6 weeks, I was told that the baby couldn't implant itself because I was too active. The baby implanted when I got off my feet and rested more. I'll keep in touch.

Esther - It seems like you ar having many of the smae symtoms that I am having. I went in on Tuesday and had an u/s, it was positive except the baby had a low EHR. I am now spotting more heavily and with some blood clots. It has turned from brown to dark red. I am going crazy. One minute I think okay, that's it, I've miscarried. And I begin to cry, trying to except the loss of my baby, but the next I think...I am not sure. My b___st are still sore. I am not bleeding contantly (only when I go to the washroom), I am not having a regular period, and it is not bright red. I am so confused. I feel lost. I do not return to the doctor until Wed., June 8. I can not wait that long. Everytime I go to the restroom I feel such anxiety. I will continue to pray for all of you.

ann. i would go ahead and take a test. if it comes out neg. then wate about 2-3 weeks and take another. i am a mont and two days late. i am also afrade to take a test cause of the results. i have had a test come out neg. with my first child and then i went back up to the hospital (cause it is free) about a week after and it came out positive. it all depends on if your count is high enough to get the right resolts. that is why i at least wate a month and two week.well e-mail me back.
