Thank you all so much. I am 8 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and I already had to buy some new clothes. My stomach looks like it did when I was about 5 months with my first one. I thought something was wrong but now I feel relieved to know I'm not alone.

It's so different the 2nd time isn't it? I am 7 weeks, and so bloated, and feeling snug in my pants already. i feel like i am huge-just an allover puffy feeling. my doctor says it's the hormones--in your second pregnancy your body knows what those hormones mean, so your muscles absorb it, and they just instantly start RELAXING. Hang in there...the bumps will arrive soon!

I was so happy to read all of these responses. I was feeling weird becasue I do not fit into my pants anymore at 7 1/2 weeks - second pregnancy. I did not know if I should just get my maternity pants out or what? I am glad I am not alone.

I weighed 119 lbs. when I got pregnant and am now 9 weeks pregnant and 122 lbs. Although that is not much, I feel like I am showing already. I am just as confused as you as to wether this is bloating or showing already.

I am 6 wks pregnant at normal weight for my height and am showing, clothes are not fitting very well, ect, I am 34 2cnd pregnancy, the last one was 10 yrs ago.

what does the stomach look like at 7 months

This is my first pregnancy and I am about 4-6 weeks along and I was wondering is it normal to not be able to wear the pants I use to can wear. They hurt my stomach now.

I am 9 1/2 weeks now and I feel like I am showing already too. It seems like I am bigger at night though, I guess some of it is bloating from eating dinner, etc. At night I feel like I look about 6 mos preg. In the morning it's more like 3 mos. lol

I am about 6 weeks pregnant and am showing also! I am pet_te and none of my cloths fit comfortable anymore. Some pants I can barely b___ton. I can't imagine how bad it will be further on.

I am so relieved to read everyone's responses. I just found out I was pregnant last week and was wondering why my pants were uncomfortable. I have to use a rubber band to wear most of my pants comfortably and today I bought my first pair of maternity pants. I felt silly since I'm early into my pregnancy, but they really feel comfortable. My period last month lasted only one day, so I'm wondering if I was pregnant and the test just didn't show it. I may be a little further along than what I think.

WOW i am so relieved.. i was a bit underweight when i got prego... i am only 10 weeks right now.. but i am definitely.. showing.. i have that little *puch* in my tummy.. i had a pregnancy scare about 5 yrs ago.. and i was pregnant.. found out at 5 weeks. but the baby hadnt survived.. could that have counted as a first pregnancy and thats why im showing so quiclky??

It is more likely for a woman to show early if she happens to be slender and since this is your second pregnancy you are more likely to show sooner than your first.

I'm glad to hear this is normal. I'm in my second month. My pants have become so tight in the waist despite the fact that I've lost about 3 pounds from the constant nausea.

YES.i am only 12 weeks 2nd pregnancy and i did not show untill my 6th month with the first one,,,this one i showed at 4 weeks...bloated feeling...
