great to read everyones experiences! I am waiting for af to come also, on the 31st, and am having trouble waiting. I feel crampy with mild backach, slight nausia, pressure at my pelvis plus i am burpy-who knows. I have two healthy boys, 4 and 20 mon. and had alot of cramping with both pregs no bleeding though, I always felt it was normal and noone else seemed concerned about it either. my thing is that whenever there is a possability that I could have become preg. I obsess and feel these symptoms, amplified. who knows maybe this is normal for me at this time of the month but I perseive it as stronger as I am waiting and hoping. since I have two it seems worse as I always perseive that I ``feel`` preg. I have come to the realization that there is no such thing for me, I have been sure I am and then the flow comes and I feel so devistated because I have convinced myself that I am. really there is no way of perseiving pregnancy before a test can be done and all the searching I do for answers earlier than that is helping to foster my obsession. that being said, can anyone relate and provide me with insight

Alison, I can relate somewhat. I do not have any children and have never been pregnant until now. In July, I really thought I was pregnant. I had loss of appet_te, tender bbs, mood swings, nausea, I even vomitted once all in the week leading up to AF. There was a chance I was pregnant and with all the symptoms I had myself convinced. At about 10 days post-ovul that month I had what I thought was implantation bleeding with some brownish spotting also alot of cramping. I took an hpt 4 days later that was negative and then the next day AF came. I cried all morning. I was so upset at how fooled I was. My friends thought I was pregnant b/c of all the signs I had. I learned that those awful PMS signs combined with a huge desire to be pregnant make it oh so easy to convince oneself that they are pregnant. The following month, my husband and I tried again and this time other than the tender bbs (which I always get 2 weeks before AF), I didn't have those symptoms again. I figured I wasn't. I told my self over and over in the 2 weeks of endless waiting before you can take the hpt, that I wouldn't read into to any symptoms. And guess what, I am pregnant. So last month I was surprised to not be pregnant and this month surprised to be pregnant. The body truely will play tricks on you. The best advice I can give is to try to relax as much as possible and try not to read into the symptoms. I hope you get the results you are hoping for.

Alison I can definately relate!!! I have two girls 6 & 4 and have thought many times in the past few years that I was pg although we were not even trying and I was on BC. My first two I had all the symptoms and I just knew, we were not really trying though and my tests were both +. This is the first child that we have planned and really tried for and I really didn't think that I was. I didn't have the same symptoms as I did with the first two. This time I had cramps and diarreah (yuck) and that was it but I checked several days before my AF and it was + but I thought no way. I think our desire to be pg allows our bodies to give us symptoms of it even when we are not. We can definately control our bodies by our minds to some degree. It will all happen in Gods time!

Kristi and Heather thanks for the feedback, it really helps to hear from other woman who have had simular feelings.congrats on both your pregs, we are open for baby, not trying which means hopefully less pressure but the truth is for me, I love kids-babes so much and what they bring to life I find it hard to be layed back during the two week wait!! I think all woman who are open to babies understand this on some level. I totally agree that it is all in Gods time, that`s how my dh explains why he does not fret or stress. my poor hubby thinks I go bonkers though during this tww, and I kinda agree. Thanks for the sisterhood, as these feelings do defy logic. Also, I am b___stfeeding my little one still, he`s such a b___b man, I know that I am ovulating regularly, but does that add, subtract, change symptoms ie) intensify cramping like lactating in the first hours after delivery, any experience or imput please.

Heather, Well, I ended up waiting until Saturday to take the test. It came up + and since then I've started having slight nausia, and my bb are still the same but look like there is a road map going across them. I'm calling the dr. tomorrow to set up the necessary appointments.

Beth - Yeah !!! Congrats, PTL, are you so excited??? I was very excited for you reading your post. Was hubby excited? How is your cramping and back pain?

Leanna - August 29

I'm 7 weeks and cramped on and off today. I was just on the phone with my friends tonight b/c I was worried. Even though I know it's supposingly normal. SO, I'm happy to hear all of you are experiencing this too. Thank you thank you!

I'm in my fifth week and had cramping right around the time I was supposed to get my period and then it went away for about a week. Now it's back and it is awful. I am not bleeding or anything just awful pains in my back and abdominal area. Is this normal?

Claudia - August 30

...forgot to mention that I am indeed pregnant and having the cramping. I am worried that I will have a miscarriage...how bad are everyone's cramps?

bean - August 30

Claudia - my clamps are incredibly painful. Enough to wake me up at night and make me wish I had normal morning sickness rather than cramping. I guess it's normal as everything is stretching and pulling down there.

Alison - August 30

I too had a + test, lots of cramping i had it all through my last two pregs as well. sometimes quite strong and sharp cramps, sometimes dull achy an wrap around to my back and radiate down to my legs.

Heather - August 30

Alison - I'm so happy for you also! Claudia, Leanna, & Bean This cramping thing is pretty scary. Mine is more pain now like when I am active, like walking a lot ( the dr told me not to exercise right now). My cramps were never bad enough to wake me at night but they were bad enough during the day to sometimes make me sit down and the back pain was bad too. (I think hubbys hands hurt from all the ma__sages I asked for). Now they are not as bad as when I first found out I was pg. Everyones bodies are so different some may go away in a few weeks but some may not. Congratulations to all of you! Let's all pray that we have healthy babies!!!!!!!!!

This site is so good. Feeling hopeful that I am pregnant. Symptoms so far are mainly cramping since ovulation and wind -flatulence and burping (sorry). Also had a bit of constipation although now I seem to have loose bowels. Period is due today and as yet no sign. Had some brown spotting 2 days ago that hope was implantation bleeding? Tested 2 days ago and disappointly got negative result but hoping I have tested to early. Any of these symptoms ring any bells with you pregnant ladies? Worried the loose bowels are a sign of period coming rather than a + HPT? Any comments will be grateful.
