This site is so good. Feeling hopeful that I am pregnant. Symptoms so far are mainly cramping since ovulation and wind -flatulence and burping (sorry). Also had a bit of constipation although now I seem to have loose bowels. Period is due today and as yet no sign. Had some brown spotting 2 days ago that hope was implantation bleeding? Tested 2 days ago and disappointly got negative result but hoping I have tested to early. Any of these symptoms ring any bells with you pregnant ladies? Worried the loose bowels are a sign of period coming rather than a + HPT? Any comments will be grateful.

Scarlett - I had the cramping and loose bowels the week before I found out I was pg. When I was pg with my first I tested about a week before I should have (just because I felt pg) and it came out negative. I waited until the day of my AF and tested again and it was +, so you never know! Good Luck!

Hi Sinamon-that's just your little baby getting all comfortable and streching your uterous. Very normal and a good sign. In fact its one of my few that I have right now at 6 weeks. Along with headache and b___st tenderness. Don't worry!

Hi ladies - I'm entering my 9th week of pregnancy and have had mild cramping since finding out I was pregnant at 4 weeks - the kind of cramping has changed over the course of the last five weeks - first it resembled mild period like cramps - likely a__sociated with implantation as it mocks period like cramps. I also had mild backache. Over the past three weeks - the cramping has changed from AF like pain to stretching and pulling pain and round ligament pain that is centred on either side my pelvis and finds its way into my groin area. I've had no bleeding and generally the pain is very mild. If I get up too quickly or stretch - the pain heightens but I was told by my midwife this is quite normal. I was also told that your foot size can also help understand how large your pelvis floor is and how it is able to accommodate your growing baby. Small foot - smaller the pelvic area and hence probably a bit more discomfort. So long as it is not persistent and a__sociated with bleeding - it is likely fine. I watch how quickly I get up and am careful when turning in bed and streching. Hope this helps..take care.

I'm in my 4th week and this will be child number two for me. I didn't have the cramping with my first one but I am for this one. I was told it was from stuff streaching and rearranging for the baby. You can take an eary preg test 4 days before you are supposed to start your peroid. That's what I did-took the test this past friday and was supposed to start my cycle yesterday!!!

Heather-
Sorry I haven't responded since Aug. 29th. I was out of town My hubby was as elated as I was. We go for our first prenatal appt. on Monday but I already had the confirmation done by Kaiser and it read + for them too. So, now I'm just anxiously waiting. I'll be 6 weeks on Friday.
My back pain has gone away and I am not having much cramping at all anymore. My bbs-well they're another story. They really are sore and I get slightly nauseated. So...we'll see. I've heard it gets a lot worse around 7 wks if morning sickness is going to kick in full gear. Any thoughts?

Roopa-
Congrats to you as well. We are probably close to the same. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow. I go to the doctor on Monday and am soo excited about it. To answer your question, I too have had a slightly higher temperature, and get cold easily (but I'm always getting cold) since I've been pregnant. I have read that the slightly raised temperature is expected so I'm not too worried about this. Hope this helps. Again congratulations!

Ok August 15 started period, stopped 20th, had s_x that night a couple times, then on Sept. 3rd and 4rth. I usually have a normal period and would have started on or around the 15th of Sept. but, I started bleeding funny on the 6th of Sept. The blood looks watered down almost, never really had cramps and never got heavy. Stopped bleeding basically on the 10th... Do you think I should get a test??

Sounds like you're having implantation bleeding. It's a little earlier than normal period, but is watery or looks like mixed with eggwhites. Light pinkish, bright red or brown are all common. I would wait until the day after your period is due before I would test. Good luck!
