I had to terminate at 13wks in May of this year due to chromosnal abnormality. We were devastated and have been trying for the past two months. My period was due today (usually by early afternoon) and I was convinced that I was coming on because I've had quite strong period pains and what appears to be very, very slight bleeding, but brown in colour. However, I haven't started bleeding properly and its nearly 10pm, which is very unusual for me. Do other people's experience of cramping during early pregnancy result in a lot of pain? Or has anyone also experienced period-like pains? I'm too scared to take a pregnancy test in canse I'm disappointed!

I just got my second test done y'day. & my doc is sure i'm pregnent. now i am close to 7 weeks & the cramping has reduced, though it keeps coming on&off if i do a lot of work. so ladies, just wait for couple of weeks & the pain subsides. good luck to all of you moethrs-to-be.

I just found out last Thursday I am pregnant (5 weeks) but I was suprised because not only was I cramping but I had some implantation spotting too. I really thought I was just getting my period. I called the Nurse line @ my Dr.office and they said its normal to feel cramping as long as no spotting occures after hpt is positive. Good luck to all and congrats!

Let me clarify something, I did not test for pregnancy until 3 days after missed period, not during implantation spotting, an hpt would most likely be neg. that early on... thanks

it is normal to have some cramping. I am currently 5 1/2 weeks and have some cramping as well. just as long as you have no bleeding i think it is ok

i feel so much better! i've had cramps for 3/4 days now - i'm 5wks. i've had 2 m/c so hope this is 3rd time lucky. good luck to all!!!

I AM HAVING CONTRACTIONS EVERYDAY BUT I HAVE TAKEN 2 PREGNANCY TEST AND THEY WERE NEGATIVE.........I HAVENT MISSED ANY PERIODS......WHATS WRONG WITH ME??

I last wrote on Sept 19th when I suspected I might be pregnant despite period-like pains. Well, I've taken two tests and they're both positive! Problem is I've still got very slight spotting, which I'm worried about. The cramps have now gone and i'm no longer in any discomfort. I am 4wks and 3 days pregnant now. Trying not to worry. Anyone else expereinced this and gone on to carry to full term?

I am in the same boat and have been a worry wort for about 2 days now. I am about 4 weeks pregnant (just found out 3 days ago) and I have cramping that feels like period cramps, but not as strong and not constant. I am glad to hear this is normal and I am not the only one experiencing it. Congrats and Best of Luck to all.

Hi im new here! PLease answer..i really need sum advice!! my period was due the 3rd of this month still late...3 weeks 2 b exact...i took 3 test..clear blue and first response (2) all were negative, ive had stretch marks along my tummy pop up, my b___st are tender and have blue vains, i get headaches, back aches, little cramps in my abdoma___l area, and after i eat i want to eat more, whats wrong wit me?? my boyfriend and i have had unprotected s_x and ttc for about 4 months, any1 know??? plz advice!!

I think I may be pregnant, but only about 3 1/2 weeks if that...I'm not totally sure. But sometime last week for just one day, maybe about an hour or so, I had HORRIBLE cramping and I never get cramps, so this worried me, but the dr. told me I'm probably not. My husband and I have had s_x twice since then, and now my b___sts are sore and I've been very tired and craving food all the time. I'm still getting negative response on tests, but I just feel like I am...anyone in the same boat?

OH...also, I'm due to get my period this weekend, and have had absolutely nothing going on down there, color-wise...it doesn't appear that my period is coming anytime soon..

I am not sure this is my second pregnancy and The first baby I had no cramping and this one I has some for about 2 hours only one day, I am not sure if it's normal to have it that much but maybe everyone is different.

Thank goodness for all of you women!!! I was in complete panic mode last night b/c I have been having the cramping all along (6 weeks) and last night it was at it's worse. It actually stopped me in my tracks! Up until now, I thought I would feel actual stretching and pulling, on one side or the other which is what I was told, but it has only felt like that a couple of times. The rest of the time it was actual cramps. I also have another concern.. I am only 6 weeks and I am showing already, and have had to buy a couple pair of maternity pants, b/c mine are too small. I am pretty peitie and when I gain weight it always goes right to my stomach, and I've already put on 3 lbs. My first DR. appt. isn't for another 2 weeks. Anything to put my mind at ease ladies?
