I am not quite due for my period yet, I should have it about Jan 1st. But I've had slight cramping very low for about a week now. My husbend and I are trying to get pregnant and it will be our first. Did this happen to anyone else before they knew they were pregnant?

yes, 2 weeks before period is due, is way too early to have any type of symptoms...that's usually when people ovulate, and some like myself, don't ovulate until day 20 so there would be no way to have symptoms that early. Every month I would hope and pray for symptoms...but everytime I've been pregnant, I have no symptoms right away. They usually show up like 2 weeks after I find out...which is when you are 6 weeks by LMP, fetus is 4 weeks!! Good luck to all of you. I'm 9 weeks now., my symptoms come and go. Praying this one is a healthy one. I have a 6 year old and have had two miscarriages, so we are praying hard.

I have a question......... My period should be due in about 1 week, but Im never regular. do you think I should wait to test until I've missed my period, or do you think its early enough to test like now? I guees it can't hurt to test huh?

I am due to start my period next Thursday. I have had cramping ever since I ovulated last Tuesday. Has anyone ever had consistent cramping from ovulation until you are supposed to start your period. I have been trying to conceive for 12 months and this is the first time I have had this kind of cramping. Usually I have cramping for 2 days when I ovulate and then nothing until I start my period.

Wendy, My husband and I have been trying to concieve for 6 months now and I too am supposed to start my period in about 4 days. This month I have been feeling very tired(Im usually never tired durring the day)and durring ovulation this month I expierenced very strong pains on my right side and off and on throughout the last week or so I have been expierencing cramping very low. and I feel hungry all the time too. I am going to test on Saturday I think. and Im crossing my fingers. Did you get any of these other feelings as well? Sincelery, Heather

Wendy - December 29

Hi Heather. I have felt hungry and tired but these are symptoms I have also felt in previous months with no success. I will test next Thursday. This is my last month on Clomid. I have been on it for 6 months. If I am not pregnant, I'm not sure what my doctor will suggest next. I am 35 and my clock is ticking. Good Luck to you. I hope you get the news you're looking for this weekend.

Heather - December 29

Thank you so much. I wish you the best of luck as well. Keep me posted!

I had the exact same cramping and that was the month I got my BFP. They started a few days after O and continued for a few weeks. It's the only real symptom I had that made me feel different than all the other months of TTC. Good luck!

Confused - December 29

I here everyone using BFP. What does that stand for?

taterbaby - January 1

Confused--all of the acronyms had me stumped for awile too. BFP is Big Fat Positive on a pregnancy test.

Wendy and Heather, I think I am on about the same time line as you guys. I had a m/c about 3 months ago and AF is supposed to make an appearence tomorrow. However, I got impatient and I have taken an embarra__sing number of pregnancy tests in the past 4-5 days. THEY ARE ALL POSITIVE! However, my fear is the same as some of you guys. I have been cramping almost the entire time. The good news though is that I have not had any bleeding. I hope it is a successful pregnancy this time. I am so nervous over every ache and pain. Sorry I am rambling...

Taterbaby, I was sad this morning to get my period. But Congratulations on your new little one. I wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy. Im sure everything will be fine. Keep us posted. Im going to keep posting on this site throughout my trying to get pregnant. Keep your fingers crossed for me. ~Heather

Heather, I too started my period this morning. I feel so discouraged. This was my 12th month trying and my 6th month on clomid. My doctor said I only had 6 months on clomid. I have an appt. next Wed. to find out what my options are now. Hopefully he'll have something positive to suggest.
