What does AF mean? sorry I'm new on here.

Julie - ( I am new here, too) AF means "Aunt Flo," which refers to your menstral cycle. The abbreviations are in the glossary. :)

Wendy and Heather, I am sorry to hear your news. I haven't had computer access the last few days and had missed your updates. I have my fingers crossed for you both for the upcoming month. I will be anxiously awaiting your news.

Well i missed my period it was due on the 5th of this month and i missed it so i did a pregnancy test this morning and it confirmed i am indeed pregnant! Im in total shock still as it was my first time trying, guess it explains all those weird symptons lol anyway i wish all u ladies the best of luck with your pregnancies and those of you trying to get pregnant.

Hi everybody! Unfortunately I got my AF Friday morning. Since I had a m/c in November I think my body is trying to tell me to wait, because with my son I got pregnant on the pill when the condom broke and my daughter was concieved the first month of trying. This last one I had an IUD in, not trying to get pregnant and surprise, I did. So I was wondering if any of you have had the Mirena IUD in and how long it took to get pg after having it removed and/or how long after an m/c did it take for you to get pg? Also with both my previous term pregnancies I never had any symptoms, anyone else like this that with a third or fourth pregnancy had symptoms? Thanks for any help!

Mommylove, I had been on the pill forever. I quit in June and got pregnant at the end of August. I had a m/c in Sept. I was told by my ob/gyn to wait at least 3 cycles to let my body adjust and prepare to carry another pregnancy. I am 5 wks now and (keeping my fingers crossed) everything seems to be going well. :)

Heather, I went off my BC in March of last year because I wanted to be off for six mos befor we started trying in August. It still took 4 months for us to get pregnant. Not that long compared to most but still 10 monts after I went off bc. Now i'll be 10 weeks wed. and I'm cramping. I called my doctor and she thought that it might be constapation along with normal stretch cramping. It's so scary having your first baby, there are so many horror storries, that's why I like this site so much it's so encouraging. Good luck to everyone.

Sonya88, thank you so much. You've made me feel much better about my situation. Congrats on your new pregnancy. I wish you the best of luck with the whole process. Me on the other hand, I just got off my period on Saturday, so now my husbend and I are off to month #7. Wish us luck, we need it. I will keep you all posted. Thanks for all the encouragment.

Taterbaby, thanks for your help. Congratulations on your pregnancy!! You are on the same cycle I am if you are 5wks b/c if I had gotten pg in Dec. I would be 5 wks. So anyway I just started on the sixth and I am waiting to ovulate, which should be on the 20th, we'll see. So did you wait the three months and then get pg the first month of trying?

taterbaby - January 9

Mommylove, Yes we did wait the 3 months. It was hard. We were so anxious to try again. When we were first tod to wait we thought about waiting until the spring to try again however, when the 3 cycle mark hit, we couldn't stand to wait any longer. I wish you the best of luck. Good thing the practice is fun!! :)

I went to the doctor and in have corpus luteum cyst the doctor said it is normal and will not cause any problems but if you are having a sharp paini n 1 side of your abdomen you should have it checked out and he will put you on bed rest if neccesary.
