I went to the doctor and in have corpus luteum cyst the doctor said it is normal and will not cause any problems but if you are having a sharp paini n 1 side of your abdomen you should have it checked out and he will put you on bed rest if neccesary.

I just found out I'm pregnant, about 5 weeks along. I have been experiencing some mild cramping for about a week and half. I'm really worried. I have other signs of being pregnant, frequent urination, tender b___sts, some nausea, and fatigue. I'm ready to call my doctor because I'm so scared. Has anyone actually talked to your doctor about this cramping? I don't have any bleeding what so ever.

Hello, I am five weeks and since I tested last Friday (a week ago) I've been having cramps. Last weekend I also had some spotting so I called my doctor and she sent me 2 blood tests 48 hrs apart from each other. I was 4 weeks then and my HCG level went from 146 to 320. Before that I went to a website and found out that the normal range is VERY wide so I wouldn't worry about that. Go to google and search for HCG Normal Levels and you will see. Good Luck! I don;t have spotting but the cramping is still going on...

I'm so glad I found this site! Am about 4 weeks and woke up with cramps this morning and thought something was really wrong. Don't rembember anything like this with my first one. Good to know I'm normal! Mommylove, I had the Mirena IUD in for 3 years and just had it removed end of Oct. Got pregnant after 2nd normal cycle. Good luck!

Wow - I'm SO glad I'm not the only one with cramping...I'm just 4 weeks today (took 3 tests this weekend, they were positive, missed period today and reconfirmed with another test). I was very nervous that something may be wrong, but now I know this is normal. It's just a dull, almost constant soreness in my lower abdominal area, with some lower back pain/soreness beginning today...nothing like menstrual cramps. Whew! Congrats to all other mommies-to-be! This will be our first baby...waited all my life for this!!!

Hello everyone, just a quick question from Canada. I have a regular 28 day cycle and am 5 days late. We just started TTC last month. I took a test 3 days ago and it was negative. Felt cramping all week and thought it was my period coming, but no bleeding at all so far. My husband thinks I am getting my hopes up. Any thoughts? When should I take another test? Great to read all of your stories, as it is rea__suring to someone new to the whole thing. Congrats to all!

Hi, this is my 1st time here, i was very relieved to hear im not the only person who has cramping and back ache. I am in my 12th week of my 2nd pregnancy the 1st time round i didnt get any cramps or back ache and at 6 & 1/2 weeks i lost the baby, the only symptoms i had was servere back ache and very light cramps about 5/10 mins before i started bleeding. Now the 2nd time round i have the same servere back ache slight cramps that have been going on daily for about 3/4days but with no bleeding. I have spoke to many people who have also said that it is just growning pains, and not to worry.

Yes, for themost part its absolutly normal. Your uterus is growing and at a rapid rate, so there may be some cramping. As long as it does dot persist too long, and there is no bleeding that goes along with it. If it continues for more then a day or two, just call your doctor and they will address it if they feel it should be.
