1st baby due May 10th, 2010! Hubby and I have lost 6 so we're prayin for a strong baby! But had a couple questions for ya ladies, I'm 118 lbs and haven't gained or lost anything, but I'm already showing. My mother in law is joking that we might be having twins, what's your thought?

TaraO - September 13

Hi Cowgirl! Congratulations!!! Sounds like things are going well for you! Have you had an ultrasound or anything yet! I miscarried in July but am due on May 10th also. I get my first ultrasound on October 1st. So exciting!!! I usually show really early... by like 10 weeks or so. (This is my 3rd). But Doctor says its hard to show before that because the baby is only sesame seed size till about 6 weeks, then only like half inch to an inch...Your uterus will really start to expand after about 8 weeks or so. They told me before that it was in my head!!! I am or was kind of tiny my last pregnancy...about 110 when I got pregnant, I gained about 10 lbs, before I showed. I was in maternity clothes by 31/2 months. I am not as tiny this time. My baby is only 9 months so I haven't lost all of the weight I had gained, so hopefully I don't gain so much this time!!!! I can't afford it!!! Anyway, Congratulations and Good luck!!! I look forward to chatting with you further!

Hi ladies! I've jumped right on the morning sickness train...feelin' crummy at various points during the day. Ugghh. Quick question for everyone...is anyone else having trouble getting comfortable when they sleep? I can't seem to find a good position that doesn't make my abdomen feel weird. anyone?

starmay - September 13

chappers: Oh my gosh yes! I thought I was just being weird! I kept thinking, seriously this has to all be in my head. I'm only 6 weeks and I went out and bought a body pillow because that seems to be the only way I can get comfortable. I have a hard time sleeping on my stomach now. I also can't stretch as far as I used to. Like when you're laying on your back and you put your arms above your head.

Hi Neveah: Lovely names! Blaine, aw, especially precious!! I had to pick a new OBGYN too, because I moved since my last pregnancy, and I also made my appointment (Oct 7). I hope we both end up seeing nice, smart, and caring professionals and don't have to switch! Starmay: I love your name choices too! I had a best friend Audrey growing up so I always thought fondly of that name! Hey, your doctor's appointment is tomorrow, right? Good luck with everything (and stay calm!). Let us know the report! Hiperact13: I'm so glad everything went well at the doctors and your lil one is OK! Oh my gosh if there was any kind of indiciation that I was going to have multiples I would panic too! BTW Glad the lemon drops are working!! Not much new with me, but I like to check in when I can! I had a little bit of nausea this weekend, but nothing bad. I went to seek out lemon drops myself, but guess what, Walmart had none!! BOOOoooo. I'll have to look elsewhere. Still have tons of energy which made me wonder...is this really a strong pregnancy, is something up, etc? So like a wierdo I took another pregnancy test only to see a crazy strong line and somehow that was re-a__suring. It's just so weird to have all this energy?! I mean, really guys with my first I was already in agony with exhaustion every day by this point. Hope this continues....but bet it won't! Good night ladies!

Hipchick--I'm with you. I don't feel overly tired. In fact, I had a party at the house today and cleaned for two days before. My sister said that if I am like this now, she hates to see how I will be when I'm nesting! No nausea either. I get those thoughts as well about whether or not this is a strong pregnancy, but then figure that there are plenty of people (my sister being one of them) that had no symptoms of pregnancy and did fine. Have any of you ever watched the show, "I didn't know I was pregnant" on Discovery Health? Those are unbelievable stories! Well, I see the nurse educator on Thursday of this week and the Doc. the following week. Yeah!

starmay - September 13

ok girls I have a tendency to worry and I'm slightly panicky. For awhile, I'd say about a couple weeks, I've been having slight pains if I laugh too hard, coughing, if I sit up too fast. Almost like if you get a leg cramp or a muscle cramp. I just have to sit or stand there and eventually it goes away. With this ultrasound coming up and them wanting to check to make sure it isn't ectopic (now it isn't until Tuesday), like an idiot I decided to just out of curiousity look up symptoms of ectopic pregnancy. One of the symptoms said : Pain that gets worse when you're active or while moving your bowels or coughing. I mean, there is no pain UNTIL I do something strenuous or get up really fast. I don't understand why I do these things to myself. I should have just left it alone and waited until Tuesday. Ugh....Now I just feel like crying.

Man oh man has nausea hit me right in the face!! Yuck I was sick my entire (yes entire) 1st pregnancy and hoping this is not a repeat I lost 10 pounds before starting to gain. Everything tastes funny also!! Oh well bring it on!! Starmay- I am sorry and I can not imagine waiting that long!! You are a strong woman for it and I hope this makes you feel better the pain I was having was very similar and sometimes changing from a sitting to standing position made me feel like my uterus was going to fall out. Can not wait to hear about Tue. Just a day away... Hipchick and angelmarkie Super Jealous I had to take a 4 and half hour nap today!!! Zero energy Chappers Me too I am not going to wait to long to buy a nice recliner hopefully that will help

BAF - September 14

Morning May Mommies! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Can't wait to hear about the upcoming u/s. Not sure when my first one will be but I am definitely ready to see my lo! I was so spoiled with my first pregnancy as I got to see the baby at 7wks then again at 12 & 16wks. So far everything is progressing normally so guess I just have to be patient (and thankful) and wait. I was super tired this weekend. Thankfully, my sweet DS napped with me. He's 18 months so still takes 2 naps a day most days. Question for anyone who has any advice. My dr wanted DS off the paci by 15 months. He just refuses to give it up! Any suggestions? Hope everyone has a wonderful week. I'm 7wks 2days today! Can't believe I'll be 2 months on Saturday. So exciting. Blessings to all!

starmay - September 15

So I had my first ultrasound today.....TWINS!!! Eeeeee!!! I'm so excited and stunned.....and...just wow. lol I went in not really expecting to see much. I thought I might see a sac but nothing else. I just figured it would be too early to see anything. First thing, I knew we had twins when he was moving back and forth and I could see a sac each time he moved back and forth. But then we actually saw them!!! And I could see their teeny little hearts fluttering. And then we got to HEAR their heartbeats!! This hasn't felt real up until now. That was the most amazing thing ever. Hubby was there and when I looked over he just had this silly little grin on his face. It was great. Our first time being pregnant and just like that we're gonna catch up to our two different friends who have both been pregnant twice before us. lol. Wow.....

angelmarkie - September 15

Wow starmay! That's amazing! Congrats! I hope we can all get good news soon...

RzrbckMom2b - September 15

Hi all... Just found out over the weekend that I am expecting a baby in May. What a surprise! The shock has certainly set in and the excitement is pending :) My first appointment is October 8, around my 8th week. We are a bit hesitant to spread the news and want to wait until we know all is well. I guess I'm here in hopes of receiving some positive reinforcement from strong females being that I lost my own mother a little over a year ago and feel quite lost on this journey already. I'm wondering if I'm further along than the doctor thinks, I feel like I'm already showing and it's only halfway thru my fifth week. Where have these stretch marks come from?! Why can't I b___ton my jeans!? This fatigue and morning (all day) sickness have all hit at once... when does fear subside???

TaraO - September 15

Hi girls!!! Starmay, congratulations. That is so amazing. I am so nervous until that 1st ultrasound. My back is really hurting and I am exhausted. I am hoping that they are good enough pregnancy symptoms. I have no b___st tenderness like I did last time. I get nervous about every little thing. I wish I didn't, but somehow, I just do. I had a subchorionic bleed the 2nd pregnancy and it turned out to be no big deal, and then I miscarried in July ...So, needless to say I am worried again. I had an early miss, like 2 days after my period was due. It's just so hard to relax. All I can think about is baby baby... Ilook forward to bedtime, because that is the time that pa__ses the fastest and I'm pooped! HAve a great night and hello Rzrbck Mom 2 b. Is this your first baby? Fear doesn't subside!!! As you see my above stress! I can't stop worrying...As long as its not making you crazy. I just can't wait for my ultrasound!
