Hi girls!!! Starmay, congratulations. That is so amazing. I am so nervous until that 1st ultrasound. My back is really hurting and I am exhausted. I am hoping that they are good enough pregnancy symptoms. I have no b___st tenderness like I did last time. I get nervous about every little thing. I wish I didn't, but somehow, I just do. I had a subchorionic bleed the 2nd pregnancy and it turned out to be no big deal, and then I miscarried in July ...So, needless to say I am worried again. I had an early miss, like 2 days after my period was due. It's just so hard to relax. All I can think about is baby baby... Ilook forward to bedtime, because that is the time that pa__ses the fastest and I'm pooped! HAve a great night and hello Rzrbck Mom 2 b. Is this your first baby?
Fear doesn't subside!!! As you see my above stress! I can't stop worrying...As long as its not making you crazy. I just can't wait for my ultrasound!

Thanks angel and TaraO! I'm crossing my fingers for good news for everyone as well!
Tara, I totally understand being nervous. Like I had said in a previous post, I go so far as to look up symptoms and just all in all....get WAY too much info, which only winds up stressing me out more (like the ectopic symptoms). And it stresses hubby out. He was upset when I mentioned what a blighted ovum meant. He doesn't like me looking up all this info and just wants me to enjoy this. So even though I'm being a total hypocrite, I'll say it anyway....Just try to enjoy this and try not to stress about whether you're experiencing symptoms or not. Remember, we're all different and what one person experienced her first time, may not be the same for you. So far (and I'm totally jinxing myself by saying this) I haven't experienced any morning sickness, my b___bs really aren't that tender or sore. I've just been tired. If I went by physical symptoms alone, I'd just say I wasn't getting enough vitamins and would never think I was pregnant. I wish I could give you a big ol' hug and tell you everything's gonna be ok. :) It's all up in the air for all of us though right? But we can be here to support each other. Sorry, late in the night and right before bedtime, I get super sappy. lol
Anywho, when is your first ultrasound? We can count down the days with you! :)

Oh and also have any of you girls ever had a prenatal that wasn't a stinkin' horse pill? I'm such a huge baby when it comes to pills. The only way I can take these, is to mask the fact that I'm taking a pill, by mixing up a cup of hot cereal that's thick but not too thick I can't gulp it down with the pill. Very sad I know. I need to talk to my doctor about getting me on a different pill. Smaller. I can't keep doing this. It's getting old and annoying. But if I try taking it with water, the instant I feel that pill on my tongue, I gag. I just can't do it! It's all psychological. What can I say, I'm a mess. lol

Starmay, ask your dr to prescribe you "Pregvit". It is a terrific vitamin, you take it twice a day so that you get optimal absorption of all the vitamins and minerals. Plus, it also has 1.1 mg of folate which is a bit more than the regular prenatal. you take a pink pill in the morning, and a blue one at night. they are quite a bit smaller than the regular prenatal vitamins, and I have used them in all three of my pregnancies. As soon as I get a BFP i get on the phone and ask for a prescription!!!

thanks chappers! I'll definitely ask about that. You reminded me too....since I'm having twins, does that change your needs as far as prenatals go? wouldn't it make sense that you would need more than normal?
Thank you BAF!! :)

Angelmarkie: Hope you are still flying high with the energy levels! The tiredness has finally found me!! Too bad I have an 18 month old and cannot afford to nap! I’m just trying to go to sleep a bit earlier. YES, I’ve seen “I didn’t know I was pregnant”. Those stores are so crazy! Can you imagine, not only finding out you are pregnant much later on, but also discover you are about to deliver right then and there?! Yikes.
Hiperact: So sorry about the nausea. Yuck. I have been blessed with only slight nausea the first go-around and same thing so far this time around. I feel sooooo much sympathy for you ladies who get it bad and also when it turns into vomiting! How do you do anything during the day! And when I read you took a 4 1/2 hour nap I was SO JEALOUS. I wish!!!
Fjamil1: We have the same due date! Go May 17! Congrats!
Starmay: WOW! TWINS! WAAAAHOOOO! What a surprise! And I love that your husband had a smirk on his face. Cute!
Still nothing new with me except that I have caught the afternoon tired bug where it feels like someone has snuck up behind me and drugged me by mid-afternoon! But, I work full time and then spend my time with my little girl, so not much time for a nap (although now my husband is starting to insist that I at least lay down for a bit here and there, aw so nice to have supportive spouses, right?!).

Hello, my name is Georgette and I found out from a HPT on August 29th I was pregnant. I have one daughter who is 6 years old. I had one miscarriage before my daughter at 8 weeks but had stopped growing at around 5 - 6 weeks. Since we started trying again a little over a year ago I have had about 4 or 5 chemical pregnancies. Due to the previous pregnancies I had a few blood tests and an U/S. I took a blood test on the 31st and it came back 104, on Sept. 3rd it was 312, and on Sept. 8th it was 2720. I'm scared though because my Dr. thinks that i'm not as far a long as I should be due to my initial HCG level. Also I went for an U/S on Sept. 11th and he couldn't see a gestational sac. He wanted me to come back on the 25th so, here I wait and stress.

Hopefully my nausea and vomiting will stop I got a script for Zofran and Phenergren!!!! Yeah I finally ate tonight. After only having corn on the cob french fries and a bowl of frosted mini wheats in the last 36 hours. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Hi girls,
Saw the Nurse Educator today with DH. Can't wait to see the doctor on Wednesday, at which point I will try to convince her to perform an ultrasound, just for that extra rea__surance. I am considered high risk due to some health issues I experienced last year (with my heart), so maybe the convincing won't be that hard? I still have no real signs of pregnancy. Breasts are tender, but only if pressed. Cramping on and off. No nausea (sorry hiperact) and no fatigue (sorry HipChick). I swear, it is a curse to find out your pregnant so early! :) Hope all is well. Good night!

I agree angelmarkie, definitely a curse. Although since I got pregnant through IVF, they take more precautions than usual so they're checking more often and earlier, like with the ultrasounds.
Hopefully they will take your health issues into consideration and give you an early ultrasound.
Thank you HipChick! It was very cute. :)
Thank you hiperact! Definitely makes more sense now. lol I've already got a little pooch.
So I'm supposed to go in again on the 29th for my second ultrasound. Right before we leave for our vacation to Paris! By the way...totally depressing that I can't eat any of that yummy cheese over there. :(
