Hi my name is Shannon I just found out im pregnant with baby number 2 and im due May 24, 2010 my DD is 20 months old. Im only about 4 weeks 4 days pregnant my first was a surprise but this time around my husband and I decided to try and to my surprise it happened the first month. I was just wondering if any of you have had many symptoms at 4 weeks mostly i have just been really tired a little sick when on an empty stomach and slightly sore b___sts on and off but not swollen you think this is normal to not have to many symptoms this early on I cant remember how early my symptoms started with DD. THANKS

Well I broke down and called the Dr.'s office today and they said that if I had a tubal pregnancy I would definitely be bleeding and in pain by now. She said I was probably just too early to see anything. I hope so. I'm having a good day today. My symptoms seem to come and go... one day nausea the next none, one day b___bs are sore the next not at all or hardly at all..My pregnancy with my daughter was a lot easier than this one. I had really no symptoms other than constipation with her.. not so much this time. I really feel for all of you having worse symptoms than I am...how do you do it everyday?!

I did Shannon, had cramps, sore b___bs, constipation, bloating, tired, nausea, gas all on and off for 3 weeks now.

Well girls...I started with very slight spotting today. As a result, I called the doc and will go in for an ultrasound on Monday morning. I'm really glad to be having an ultrasound, but nervous all the same. I spotted in my other pregnancies (the two viable ones, as well as the miscarriage), so I am not a complete basketcase at this point. I am really hoping to see the baby with its little beating heart so I can finally tell my girls that they are getting a baby! Well, wish me many happy baby wishes. I'll be sure to post on Monday with news (happy news, I hope!)

Hello ladies!! I just got my BFP this morning, which ironically is also my birthday. This will be my third baby. I have a 9 year old girl and a 4 year old girl. My due date should be 05 28 2010. :)

I hope everyone is geared up and ready for the impending weekend! Lots of college football in the mix! I'm so anxious for my FIRST appt on the 8th, it seems so far away and I wanna see this little babys heartbeat and know everything is okay. I have been having occasional cramping on one side, similar to menstrual cramps but not nearly as consistent... might have had 3 all day today. Is that something I should worry about?? I'm trying not to stress but while I'm lying on the couch nursing this nausea, I have nothing better to do than think about everything that could be wrong. We've started talking about names, we've come up with a few baby girl names... it's the vibe we get. But who knows :) Its all so fun and exciting! I'm counting down the three weeks til my appt and tryin to relax... Everyone have a good weekend!!

Hi Ladies, just a quick check-in before I call it a night! Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was pretty good, but my 18mo. old daughter had a REALLY crabby day today, which, inturn made me and the hubby crabby. Most days I love motherhood, but whenever my girl gets in a bad way, we're like, uhhhhhhhh are we sure we can handle two little ones! :) Angelmarkie: Try not to worry about the spotting. As you say it hopefully means nothing. Let us know how everything goes. I'll be sending lots of positive energy your way to see a strong lil' heart beat! Still no news for me symptom-wise. Still tired, and a little nausea, but nothing real bad. Hey, I did have a question for you ladies though. Are any of you getting the H1N1 vaccine when it comes out? I've been advised to get it if it becomes available Octoberish. I guess I will but it's so scary since this is the first go-around of it. Yikes. I worry for my little one too. Thoughts?....

Well..not so good news for me today. Started spotting yesterday so I went to the ER. They found what may be an abnormal gestational sac with some debris in it and my HCG levels were 9974. So I call my doctor today to figure out what the plan will be. I keep my fingers crossed for everyone here..and wish you all the best.

Hello! Ultrasound was this morning and everything looks great! Saw the little peanut and its heart was beating strong at 154-160 beats per minute. We are so excited and relieved! "Baby" is measuring within two days of original date (original 5/4/09; baby measured at 5/6/09). Thanks for your positive energy Hipchick! I showed everyone at work our "baby" pictures. Has anyone else spilled the beans yet? I figured that since we saw the heart beating, it was safe to do so. I'm actually looking forward to telling my girls (7 and 10 years). I think I might wait to tell them until after my doctor appointment on Wednesday. Hipchick--They have suggested that I get the H1N1 vaccine as well, but I don't think I am comfortable with getting it. I will probably get the regular flu shot though.

Cadreamer: Oh no! I'm very sorry to hear your news. You are in my thoughts/prayers. Take care of yourself. Angelmarkie: SO HAPPY everything went well at the ultrasound! Awesome news! So fun to share with coworkers too. I've read good things once you've seen the heart beat too (very low chance of miscarriage). Actually, this time around I told close friends and family right when I found out. I'm only six weeks now. Work and my in-laws, however, will have to wait for some time. Work, because I'm not 100% sure of my plans after this baby (work part time or continue full time, etc) and in-laws, because I want to postpone lectures on raising two kids for as long as possible from my mother in law! HAH! Luckily my husband was on board with this (he knows!).

Cadreamer, I am so sorry. We must have been posting at the same time. I don't want you to think I was being insensitive. Things will work out for you. Many of us have experienced miscarriages in the past just to go on and have healthy pregnancies (mine happened two months after the mc). So, I will hope for you to have a speedy recovery!
