hi ladies ! i ignore my email on the weekend and at night b/c if i'm not at work, i don't want to see a computer ! so sorry for everyone who is feeling so awful. rosenow, i think i'm with you and was just really tired but nausea is fine as long as i eat often enough. although i'll be happy when i don't need to eat every 5 seconds so i'm not gaining too much weight this early on. lia, so sorry. i can't imagine having all those little ones and feeling so awful. for the girl/morning sickness theory, i had a girl last time and never got sick once. just a tiny bit nauseous for a few weeks. so who knows ?? ok, so my belly popped out this weekend already. anyone showing already ? i mean, nobody else could tell unless i'm wearing tight clothes, but i def. saw my belly big time on friday and ever since. didn't expect that this early ! had a rough night last night. daughter woke up with a 102.5 fever after tylenol. i know that's not extremely high but she's never had one that high before. so she was in our bed and i was wide awake all night. feeling it today for sure ! so does anyone have appts. this week ? hope so ! ok, gonna go try to work now... anyone else working full time ? i'm at my computer all day and just want to eat my face off...ugh !

Good morning everyone. It's been a rough couple days for me. I've been nauseous for awhile now but I just started throwing up a few days ago. My mom bought me a new set of sea bands for my birthday and they have helped a little.
kearly: I was in maternity pants at 9 weeks with my second son and this time, I feel like I have a belly already too. My jeans won't zip so I've started wearing a lot of loose sweatpants. I'm so sorry that your daughter is sick. My three year old woke up really early this morning throwing up so I know how you feel.

Kearly: Hey there hope your little girl is feeling better! I have my first Apt with my OBGYM this Thursday and I get to hear the babies heart beat. I had on my bloodwork done already. I wonder when we will get to have our first ultrasound. I am going to record the heartbeat on my blackberry so I can remember it forever! I work full time as a 7-8 teacher. Today is actually a snow day so I will be sitting all day and just relaxing. I am so tired. This is my first pregnancy so I can't wait for every experience. Hubby made me supper last night (Mac and Cheese) It made me sooo nausiated! I don't think I will ever eat it again lol. I used to love the stuff. that is one of the only things he knows how to make as I loev to cook. I did not want to hurt his feelings
Mandersmom: My best friend is on her third and she was showing allot even at 8 weeks. It is not uncommon to show early after your first because your muscles are not a tight and they once were. I am not showing but I can feel it when I rub my tummy. DH is already talking to the baby telling him/her he loves them. it's soooo cute! Other then last night and one other time I have really not felt any nausea at all. I guess I should be thankful but it would be yet another symptom I would be happy to have to remind me that things are ok :o) Waiting for this first obgyn checkup is agony lol. It's so hard to keep dought and negative thoughts away! But most of the time I just feel pleasant at the thought and smile when I catch myself holding my belly lol

HI! I found out saturday the 16th! The week before I got my BFP I started to suspect that I was bc I was feeling pregnant-after 3 I kinda know what's going on....but my symptoms now are unlike any I have had with the previous...kinda feels like the first time all over again. No headaches though-so I am happy for that!

The only thing I have to say is holy b___bs! They are starting to fill out the stretch marks left over from my son and the achy burn...forgot about this part. I am using a midwife so I don't have any appointments until my 11th week, so the first week in March. I thought I was being a little anxious when I called for a midwife last week seeing as I haven't had a blood test done yet, but I am glad I did, as I got the last spot they had open for that time period. I used the same midwifery group with my son and just loved every minute of it and just couldn't imagine having to deal with an OB/GYN this time around.

Jenn: Congratulations and welcome!
first-timer: I am using a midwife too. I used the same practice for my first two births and I wouldn't have it any other way.

morning girls. So last night I noticed a new change. My bb's have grown allot and my nps are VERY large and dark. I never had veins on them before now they stick out like big blue highways! Day after tomorrow I meet my little Rosebud. Well at leased we will get to hear the heartbeat. Has anyone else had an ultra sound or heard the heartbeats yet??? I am soooo excited! I also love getting these new symptoms because it reasures me that things are going allong well.

hi girls ! rosenow, only 2 more days ! it'll be here before you know it. that's great you guys are using midwives. i think i'm too much of a chicken to go that route. i wanted my epidural sooo badly with my first. i'm a wimp i guess, but the whole midwife path sounds so dreamy and peaceful :-) so my belly gets really big at night. i remember this from before that i'd start the day with it not so bad, but by bedtime it's much bigger. i just can't believe how big it is already. sadly, i have no b___bs. they got a tiny bit bigger, but still in the same bra. with my first i was in the same pre-prego bras all during the pregnancy and during nursing. i'm an A cup normally so i was dreaming of b___bs for once in my life ! oh well... today was the first day i wasn't really nauseous and didn't need to eat everything in sight. hope it stays that way. i read we should gain 2-3 lbs in first trimester and i'm already at 3. i hate those guidelines !
jen, welcome !!!!! a nurse with 3 kids, you must be really tired right about now, huh ?

Hi girls – I’m still feeling bad. :-[ Thanks for the suggestions, but nothing really works for me. I just think my body is super sensitive. I tried the Sea Bands during my 1st pregnancy and they didn't give me any relief. I was placed on Zofran with my 1st and 2nd pregnancies because I couldn't keep any food down. I may ask for it again. I'll talk to my OB on Friday. We'll have a sono and then the doctor's visit at 8:00 am (EST) on Friday (1/29). I'm exhausted and don't know how I'll make it to then. For the girls with the Midwives - will you deliver at a hospital, at home or at a birthing center?
