4days Late Wishing For A Positive

Ok so im24 years and ttc imfoir days late on my period had cramping and bloating last week thought i was getting my period but now im four days late but with a negative test was it too early to test ? Still no sign of pregnancy just experiencing lower back pain and a bit of fatigue slightly tender nipples and white creamy mucus im really wishing for a positive anybody in the same boat?
