Hello,
My SO & I aren't not necessarily trying to conceive, however we aren't using any other preventative methods besides pulling out (not ideal prevention). My period was due February 28th, I have 26 day cycles. It did not show until March 3 & lasted about 2 1/2 days. Normally it's 4-5 days with heavy bleeding day 2. Well that "period' was very light & consisted of basically brown spotting, mainly when I wiped. Next period was due March 28th & has yet to show. I have done two clear blue tests with bfn. My breast ache & tingle off & on. Lower back aches & headaches off & on. I also feel full all the time, with constant heartburn. What could this be? Could I still be pregnant?

It's quite unlikely you are 8 weeks pregnant and still getting negative tests. A glandular problem or an ovarian cyst could be causing your signs. A doctor will have to help resolve this.

Looking at my calendar, I'd be about 5 weeks & a few days from possible conception dates, which my Dr agrees with. I'm to retest next Wednesday. Thank you!

Yes, weeks of pregnancy is counted from first day of last normal period, while fetal age from date of conception is two weeks less. Confusing, I know. The next Wednesday retest is good advice.

how can u compute the weeks or months or your pregnancy? is it your last meet? or ur last period?
in my case my previous menstruation was on march 06-10.. my boyfriend and I had met last March 28 and I supposed to have on april 06. I bought PT and discovered that I am pregnant.. how many weeks am i pregnant?

AS, by convention weeks of pregnancy are counted from the beginning of your last period and due date is 40 weeks later. In fact you don't get pregnant until two weeks or so later when ovulation occurs. Your cycle appears to be 31 days so ovulation is most likely on cycle day 17, in this case March 23. It would be surprising for you to get pregnant CD 22 unless you sometimes have a 36 day cycle. Your first trimester ultrasound will pinpoint that ovulation to within a day or two, and they will add those extra two weeks to get gestational age instead of fetal age.
If you indeed got pregnant from sex March 28 they will believe your last period began March 14 with due date Dec 21.
