9 Positive Hpt Doctor S Tests Negatives

Well I have a story similar to many women on this site. I am 20 days late on my period. However, I tested about 7 days in, on a first response hpt and got a negative answer. I did not think much of it at first. After about 15 days in, I tested again since I was worried my period had not started. The result came out positive but with an extremely fainted line. I could not believe my eyes, I even thought I was imagining things so I went and bought a digital hpt and came out as YES+. After that I tested another four time (all different brands) with all positives. I went to the doctor’s office the next day to have a urine and a blood test, surprisingly both with negative result. I just kept thinking, what the h__l is going on here. Of course, desperately, I went and bought three more hpt ( again different brands) as I could not believe the clinic’s results. All three tests came out positive. I even took one this morning and that came out positive too. I am confuse and frustrated, not to mention the money I have wasted on the hpts

that is very strange. A blood test in the doctors office should pick up lower hormone levels than a HPT would. I would make an appt w/ a good OB/GYN and have them check you again.

Newmommytake2...thanks for your reply. I know it is extremely strange, however, today I read many similar stories to mine where women had positive hpt but negative blood and urine test at the doctor's office. It seems like most of them waited a week before they saw the doctor again only to confirm they are pregnant. I am very hopeful...

Karol- When I first thought I was pregnant I took about 5 tests all of which were positive. I went into planned parenthood just to see if the doctors test would come out the same and the lady told me that I was pregnant before she even did the test there. She said the only point of her doing the test was so that she could give me a sheet of paper proving I'm pregnant. The doctors test did come out positive but it was only a urine one and I am now 14 weeks. I wish you the best of luck but from what it seems to me, youre pregnant.
