Pregnancy?? Or a cyst?
Ok... So my last period started on Nov 21st. I had 3 positive urine tests on the 22nd. Well for the whole week before my period my right ovary was hurting. Well on the morning of the 23rd I had s_x and it caused excruciating pain on right side and right shoulder and dizziness. I went to the ER and told them I had positive tests yesterday and explained my pain. I was worried about a tubal pregnancy. Well they gave me a urine test and it was negative. I was not PG. Then said they thought it was appendicitis and said made me drink stuff for a CT scan. Also they took blood. I asked the nurse are you gonna do a HCG test with my blood? She said I'll ask the doc. The doc said no!! I was not pregnant Because the urine was negative. So they did the CT scan and also injected me with contrast in my IV.
Came back and said I had free floating fluid and a cyst on my right ovary. And sent me home with pain mess and pelvic rest for 3 days.
I still 3 positive tests since then and a doc appt Wednesday with my OB.
My question is would the CT scan have showed a pregnancy this early? Will the radiation hurt my child?? I'm just sooooo confused. Any answers would be appreciated!

Wow! Your urine tests at home may have been more sensitive than the one in the doc office, and/or taken at a different time of day with different hCG concentration. Your concern about a tubal was legit, though pain from that does not usually manifest until 6 or 7 weeks, and hCG rise is often slow. Please come back and tell us the result of the OB visit, including answer to the radiation question. GL!
