I have been taking birth control for three months now. My cycle tends to run less than 21 days, so last month I actually started and finished my period before finishing my 21 day pack of BC. Then on the day before I would have started my new pack, I and my partner had s_x twice without using a condom. Now 22 days later I still haven’t started my period (which should have started 6 days ago) and this past week I had a brownish fleshy like discharge on and off. I did take a home pregnancy test earlier (at night) and it was negative, but I’m not convinced with the answer. Could I be pregnant?

Hmm. The bc pill should regulate your bleeds to 28 a day cycle. Have you been taking the pill this cycle? You are not reciting a list of early pregnancy signs, so there is a good chance you are not. I think you should get advice from the doc who prescribed the bc in the first place. Meanwhile take another test or two at one week intervals using first morning pee, and use condoms until you get sorted out. GL!
