Hi All, I am Jennifer, this is my first post on this forum. But I am frequent visitor. I had conceived twice and both of the time, went for a medical termination, since the baby had a cystic hygroma. Both the times the cyst was identified on her end of the 3 rd month and the doctor has advised us to terminate the pregnancy immediately and we have done it. After this two medical termination me and ma husband has done all chromosome testing and karytype to make sure there are nothing is wrong in both of us. And all the test results are positive only. Our choromosomes are normal and all other test results are also normal only. But all the doctors are saying there are no reason for this cystic hygroma (Even we consulted with two three well known doctors in the city). We were not sure the reason behind. After a 8 months break , we are trying to conceive now through IUI , since the doctor has advised to take up the IUI, which can help us in forming a good mature egg as well as the good sperms can be used to fertilize. So as per the doctors advice we have taken the IUI yesterday and waiting for the resutls keeping our finger crossed . I had two matured follicles when we scanned day before yesterday and today i have done the IUI . My question is 1) Does this IUI will help us to over come from the Cystic hygroma formation on the third month ? 2) Is there is any chances for the recurrence of cystic hygroma in the third pregenancey also ? 3) What is the success rate of the IUI on first time. I am 23 now we have got married a year and half before. I would be thank ful for you , If some one clarify my qualms. Thanks Jennifer
