h__lo i am 8 weeks pregnant and this morning my fiance and i had intercourse once we were done it was a pool of blood i immediately contacted my doctor in went in for a u/s they said the baby was fine and still had a heart beat. once i went home and used the rest room i noticed blood clots is it still a possibility to miscarry even after the u/s declared the baby to be ok?! the doctor put me on pelvic rest and prescribed me prometrium!

A miscarriage can occur at any time, most frequently in the first trimester. You made the right move in calling the doctor, and if your worries continue you should call again and calmly explain the situation to the nurse. My gut feeling is that if an ultrasound checked out fine, then little is wrong. Isn't a miscarriage normally accompanied by heavy cramping?
