Hi all! My husband and I are trying to get pregnant and are doing what we believe are all the "right things to do" when going through this process. We've just begun trying last month, but I think we may have actually gotten lucky on our first try! Here it is, and this is where I need input: We've had unprotected s_x after my last period all the way through the days before, the day of, and the days after ovulation and then some, plus in the days before my next period. Well, the time for my next period is here and this is what I am experiencing. Firstly, my normal periods start out painful and heavy and last for four days. This time, I have experienced a very, very, very light "period" that seems more like what they call implantation bleeding in addition to slight cramping. I'm very anxious and hopeful about becoming a mommy and I am wondering if these symptoms are a sign of the beginnings of a pregnancy or could, what is normally an "on time, heavy, and painful period" just be a wishful fluke this month? If you think it's what I hope it is, when can I test to be sure to get the answer I am hoping for? Thank you for any help you can provide!
