Prometrium Vs Compounded Progesterone Taken Vaginally

Hi,
I am 6 weeks 3 days into my pregnancy. I have had 1 miscarriage prior to this pregnancy. I am currently taking prometrium (oral form) 100mg 3 x a day. But have read online and heard from a freind that the va___al form of progesterone works better. With my last m/c I was on same dosage of prometrium(oral form) and lost baby at 10 wks. Anyone had any experiences similer to mine?
