How long should you wait after you stop taking birth control pills before you try to conceive?

I don't think it matters how long you wait, but it normally takes 3 months after you discontinue use before you can conceive. Some women are different though, and can get pregnant right away. Stop taking them and start trying, you may get pregnant right away, or you may try a while... find out when you ovulate and time it for that day, worked for me....
