hi my husband just left for 6 mths in the navy over seas i took a preg test came out postive i have no spptoms could the test be wrong

My ob said that there is hardly ever a false positive. You probably are pregnant. Better go have it confirmed.

If the test revealed a distinct line (faint or dark), you should a__sume you're pregnant. Misty's right. False positives are extremely rare. The only thing that will cause the line to appear on a urine test is an elevated level of the hormone HCG, which in the vast, vast majority of cases indicates pregnancy.

They both are right. The only reason you would get an false negative, is because of the levels of HCG in the urine. Many women don't feel syptoms until 6 weeks and beyond, some don't have syptoms at all.
