I STARDED MY PERIOD JUNE 24TH 2012 AND IT LASTED 6 DAYS. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR OUR SECOND CHILD SO WE MADE SURE WE HAD SEX DURING MY FERTILE DAYS. mY NEXT PERIOD IS DUE SUNDAY JULY 22 AND ON THE 17 OF JULY I STARTED SPOTTING VERY LITTLE AND IT HAS BEEN FOR 3 DAYS. I WENT IN TO GET A BLOOD TEST YESTERDAY WICH TURNED OUT NEGATIVE BUT STILL NO FULL PERIOD
CAN A BLOOD TEST NOT BE ACCURATE?

The hCG hormone doubles every few days in the first trimester, but you can't depend on it being high enough to test positive on any kind of test prior to your period date, and often later. You can hope the spotting is from implantation. Run a couple of home urine tests at one week intervals once a scheduled period is late or light. GL!
