Has anybody ever had bad cramps while pregnant, had a full term pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby?

How bad are your cramps? It is normal to cramp during early pregnancy, just like regular menstrual cramps. I had cramping with all 3 of my pregnancies (2 full term, healthy babies) and I am also pregnant now. If it is severe cramping, I would contact your doctor just to rule out ectopic pregnancy. If it is mild cramping like you would get during your period, I wouldn't stress too much about it. I am going on 7 weeks and I still get some cramping, and also found out I have ovarian cysts which is part of the reason for the cramping and pain I am feeling.

how bad is the cramping? If it is really bad, I would contact your doctor to rule out ectopic pregnancy. Some mild cramping in early pregnancy is completely normal. I've had cramping with all 3 of my pregnancies. I am currently 7 weeks and still get some cramping, it is your uterus growing :) If it is severe, or accompanied with any bleeding, I would contact your doctor asap and they will make the determination if they want to do a scan to be sure everything is o.k.
