I have been trying to conceive for 1year and 4 months and still no positive answer... I went to my doctor TODAY and he says everything is fine but 1 out of 20 women it takes 18 months to conceive so just be patient!!!! I will try to but just like I said we have been trying for a while. Good luck to all!

how long does it take to get pregnant after only having one shot of the depo injection?

if i was on the shot for 1 time then have s_x what is the approx. time it will take to get pregnant?

I was on the shot for two and half years, i just got off it 5 months ago. two weeks ago, i had all the pregnancy signs and more, I made and appt with my doctor, we did everything to see if i was preg. all the tests came out neg. So, last week, on wed. i finally got AF i think, i had unprotected s_x three times before wednesday came. Like friday- sunday. So, wed. came, and I went to the bathroom, and i was bleeding-i put on a tampon, and by the end of the day, the blood was gone. Same thing on thursday. So, it took me 5 months to get my period back. Unless that wasn't my period.... because all three of my friends went on the shot around the same time i did.. and they had like a week and half of heavy bleeding.. which mine was different it was just spotting... Idk.. but if anyone has any suggestions on what i might have been.

I have a question..... I have been on the shot since April and they say you are suppose to have fewer periods...... But since I have been on it, my periods come every month and they last for like two weeks... What should I do?

i have had 3 shots and have been off it for 3 months. i get some spotting and alot more discharge than normal is that a normal side affect or should i go to the doc?

Hi, Id just like to say i find this shot to be an effective bc. I was on it for 5 years though my twenty's and have no problem with conceiving two healthy babies one year apart around 8 months after the last shot. Its not a hidden fact that it disrupts your cycle and uterus lining..this is what makes it effective, its also stated in the literature with the prescription that it takes longer after stopping use to conceive. I hope everyone hoping for a baby that they get the bundle of joy they are wishing for but to remember the average time to takes to conceive is 8 -10 months. (could be one month...can take a year) just keep trying ladies!!
