My husband and I had s_x on oct 25 and the condominium ripped. The next day I felt like I was ovulating. I took the EC pill Next Step at 3pm, about 16 hours later. My LMP was oct 16 and my cycle is 25 days long. I'm afraid that fertilization may have already occurred and if so, would the EC prevent implantation? Thank you.

Yep, that was close to ovulation. Pray that Next Step made the uterus unreceptive. The hormones may have side effects so you should rely only on tests, the first when your period is due and the second a week later. How about an IUD?
