I am 5'5 and 200 lbs, I have been off of Depo for one year this past Oct. I have been through everything from no period for months to two periods twice a month for three months. I had the last shot Oct. 2011 and now its that it is one year later I haven't had a period since the end of Sept. Having all of the preggo symptoms but all neg home pregnancy test. What do you ladies think? Could I be preggo or is this still some effect form the shot?

I found out last week that I was 6weeks now I'm 7. I didn't get a period before just spotting here and there... So it just all depends on your body and what our lord has in store for us all. I'm very well educated grandpa viv thank you very much though. Wish all you other ladies best of luck!

I was on depo for 3 years. Didn't get a period for 3 yrs. 5 months after my last shot I had light bleeding once a month. Usually only for a few hours 1 day a month... Fell pregnant in the 6th month after my shot. Which is 3 months after the last needle ran out. Healthy baby boy.

May I know what depo is?Im just young and curious about it.

depo is a horrible birth control shot. nobody should ever get it, it should be taken away.

I see. Maybe somebody using it just really not ready to be pregnant .

Another update! Been off DEPO since April and still no pregnancy, now have regular periods but its still not happening. Thought I would add I do have children and have never had trouble getting pregnant! Really starting to think something is wrong! :(

I was due for my third shot of Depo on Sept 14th at the latest. It is now the end of November and I am still not pregnant. It has only been a little over 2 months, but I have had quite a few periods in the past 2 months.... 4 to be exact, 1 in October, and three now in November. Each one lasts only 4-6 days, but it seems like every 2 weeks they are occurring. The only thing I can recommend is to keep trying and track everything. Starting, stopping, when you had s_x, etc. if you really want to get pregnant. If this goes beyond a year witout getting pregnant, I will take all my data to the doctor and see what he can do for me. I was on depo no to long when we decided to have a baby it took me nearly 7 months to get pregnant long wait but it was worth it

I am so scared I was on the depo for 2 years I have been off of it for almost a year haven't got my period back I am freaking out will I ever be able to get pregnant or are all my chances gone now? Please someone help me....

To the ladies whom have not started or think they could neverhave a baby again. Go to see your GYNO just to make sure everythingi s clear and normal down there then do a full natural body detox!! I been off the depo for 7 months now trying for a baby I was on the depo shot for 5 years. I heard it can take a few times of having a regualr period. I finally had a period after 5 months I had 2 regular periods so far so we will see. Hope yours is sooner everyone is different :)

depo provera is the birth control SHOT u get it every 3 months to prevent pregnancy just like taking the pill, patch, nuva ring, or the arm implantation (implanon) or even iud (put in the cervix) just another form of bc.

Lucky you :) Im still trying after getting off 7 months ago. I use to be so so fertile I have three kiddos already just want one more my youngest is 5.
