Any problem being around kittens or cats, if you stay away from the cat litter?

just as long as u wash your hands after handling the kittens,keep all your kitchen surfaces clean and dont do the litter tray yourself,i got rid of my 2 lil kitties when i was 2 months pregz coz of what people said and now regret it.just be careful

no i have a cat and all you do is stay away from cat litter and dont do any gardening incase she has been going to toilet out there well you can but wear gloves

What do they say about cats during pregnancy, I would really like to know because we have niehbors cats that play in our yard all the time.
