I would go somewhere other than the dollar store; I am not sure of their quality or where they get their product. Not saying they can't be right, but another test couldn't hurt anything. Also, read the directions carefully, because most say that even a faint line (if read in the designated time, usually ten minutes) is a positive. Go get another test from a Rite Aid or even WalMart. I would go to a real drugstore and get a test. You don't know sometimes about the cheaper ones. Here in Korea thats all we have here and they are garbage; it took almost 5 weeks to register that I was pregnant. In North America I would have found out weeks sooner. Get another one and see what happens, but not from the drug store.

Thank you all... and yes i am planing on going and getting the most sensitive test and taking it in about n a week. I just thought that that was a bit funny how it came back positive but then faded to a negative. HMMM weird things happen with home pregnancy tets!

Yep. Hubby and I had been arguing whether or not I was pregnant, so I took a test to shut him up. In about 3 seconds, it came back positive. So, I freaked, made him go buy another test; when he got back, the first test had faded to negative. I was convinced it was a false positive, so I took the 2nd test - also a positive, also faded to negative very quickly. I went and had a blood test done, and, well...my 2 month old is on my lap as I type. LOL

Those cheap test are c___p. From my experience anyways. I took one after I had already confirmed with my doctor and it still came up negative. It took until I was 8 weeks for a positive to show. I took 7 tests in total. The EPT I took showed a faint positive at 2 weeks! You can go out today even and get one. Just read the package, most of the good ones can detect the hormone up to 4 or 5 days BEFORE your missed af. Good luck to you and keep us posted!

I took a cheap $3 or $4 one from Wal-Mart and it worked. I would guess you're pregnant but very early on and the hormone level is barely there. Try again.

Hello, thanks to all replying to my post. I really appreciate it. I can't ask for any thing else but lots and lots of experience that everyone has had. Well, the thing is, is i would be around a month if i was, in fact preg, so i don't understand why it wouldn't of shown up with a strong positive. But i personally, just do not trust those cheap brands. I just can't handle waiting. Even for my docs apt in a week, that is just so horrible to wait because i want to request a blood draw and i want to request it NOW so i can get the answer and start on the road to taking care of myself and my baby. I also have something else that is new, i constantly feel wet in my genital area. Is that normal? It almost feels like you wet yourself but its more of whitish liquid? Sort of like "c_m" ???

Go to peeonastick.com for answers to all sorts of pregnancy test questions, including problems with specific brands. And that question about wetness...that can be a pregnancy symptom, but some women get it every month right before a period.

i had the same problem with first response, it showed up positive and then within 5 minutes it was gone. peeoastick said that fading positives should be considered negative results, but i dont know about the test you used.if anyone has had this happen before and actually was pregnant i would really like to know.thank you

Well see, for me, i used a cheap 99cent one. So i am unsure of how much that really works. Yes, you are suppose to go off that it is a negative, but allot of girls have this problem and the true answer comes back positive. I would think that once it hits a positive/negative it is going to stay like that forever, not keep switching answers. That is also, another reason, why i can not stand HPT! How long ago did you take this test? For me, i was a couple days ago and i am having a quite of bit new symtoms and still no period! =l)

just go to a clinic, look up online about free preg. test at clinics. thats how i found out i was pregnant. It doesnt take long. I also took an at home test, E.P.T. worked great found it at target. Came back pos.

I had actually stated a post about E.P.T and how effective it was. No one responded back so i am glad that you spoke about E.P.T. Is it a good brand? How many tests did you take before it resulted in a positive?
