Hi, i was just wondering what the likely hood of being pregnant is when you have intercourse 3 days before forgetting to take the pill, i have missed the pill for 4 days now due to personal issues in my life causing me to forget. Im just slightly concerned as i know sperm can live up to 3-5 days and clueless what the female bdy does when coming off the pill. Thanks

I don't know of any research that helps answer your question. Yes, if ovulation occurred during your "forgotten" days then sperm could have survived to fertilize. With no birth control at all, there is only a 30% chance of pregnancy. Let's reduce that a bunch because of the pill and time lapse, say to 10%. you are in the two week wait. Use other birth control for the rest of the month. GL!
