Others have mentioned this as a problem, but not with the first-hand experience you cite - thanks! the hCG hormone levels do vary enormously from one pregnancy to another. Your experience is way out on the end of the curve - maybe one in a thousand.

Im having the same problem. My last menstrual period was October 25th. If you count the weeks after that I'd be 6 weeks and 2 days. My period was supposed to come on the 21st of November(so two weeks late). I've taken at least 20 home pregnancy tests and they've come back negative-I went to my doctor and got a blood test done and that also came back negative. Im having some of the symptoms such as discharge, break outs, tired all the time. Im just looking for some additional advice-I spoke with my boyfriend and he said we should wait till the end of the month before testing again. Can other suggestions/advice that might help me figure this out?

I think you should call the doc and ask about the possibility of a cyst causing these signs. The situation might resolve by itself, so your boyfriend makes sense when he says to wait until your next period is due. GL!
