Sleeping Postitions And Hip Pain

I am 7 weeks away from my due date. I gave up sleeping on my back a long time ago. Recently no matter which side I sleep on, I wake up an hour or so later with terrible pain in my hips and buttocks. The most comfortable position for my legs is yoga or indian style. It seems to stretch my hip. What can I do if I am only allowed to sleep on the left or right side. Pillows do not do the job and slinging my leg over my husband only works until he needs to change positions.

Regular pillows didn't work for me either. I found that a firm, wedge shaped pillow helps alot. You can find them in maternity stores and sometimes in departments stores that carry special "orthopedic" pillows and mattresses.

i'm 4 weeks away from my due date. i sleep with tons of pillows, and body pillows. i have a bad back and the only way i can sleep is on it, sometimes i lay proped up, or my feet up, or even having my boyfriend hold me helps (hes always comfy)when i get uncomfortable on my sides. (my hips and lower back start to hurt when i lay on my sides)
