What does a metallic taste taste like, I mean how can you tell if you have that sytptom?

Trust me you would know if you had a metallic taste in your mouth. Your mouth tastes like you are sucking on a piece of metal. However this can occur before AF and also is a symptom of other things besides pregnancy. Hope this helps!

This is a bit like asking who's buried in Grant's tomb. Metallic means metal-like, so a metallic taste in your mouth would taste like metal was in your mouth. You would know if you had this symptom because it would taste like...well, metal in your mouth.

I had the same question before I found out I was pregnant. Then a week after my positive I had it. there is no mistaking it! tastes exactly like it sounds.

The taste I had was like there was blood in my mouth.

It's from the bleeding gums - a sign of pregnancy. At least that is what my dentist told me.... I never really had it though.
