This post!!!!!! Guys, "help for dads" has been more to the point than all the books and websites ive read so far. The literature you buy or download is only going to be "generally" informative, but what you are really going to experience cannot (and will not) be described in printed words. Stick to listening to the "pros" by posting you questions here. I had to learn the hard (not to mention the expensive) way.

I don't have a "to be" book, but I do have a first year book. It's called "Be Prepared: A Practical Handbook for New Dads" by Gary Greenberg and Jeannie Hayden. It is informative, funny and illustrated in a wacky mad magazine kind of way. My DH thinks it's the best thing ever!

SHES HAVING A BABY AND IM HAVING A BREAKDOWN- By James D Barron. Its a really cute book. My husband isnt a big reader, but he likes this one. Its a little less technical and textbook than some of the others ones out there. Its written from a guys perspective and his experiences with his wifes pregnancys. I actually skim through it too.
