If he doesn't want to be apart of the life that he helped to create then I would have to just let him go. Don't let anyone convince you that you have anything less than a miracle right inside of you. Try talking with him at first, let him know that he can't just favor one child over the other. What makes this child any different from his daughter? I feel for you in your situation but if he is going to say he don't want anything to do with your child, then you really should tell him you don't want anything to do with him. I am about 6 weeks. I never imagined he would act this way. I am an emotional wreck. I don't even know how to take it. Last night after he told me this I told him my worry about how he would react to the child and he informs me that he doesn't think he can love it like he does his daughter. I know I would be fine without him but I hwould hate for him to miss something so wonderful.

I am so sorry. I know how much that hurts. But it takes two to parent. When the father isn't ready it can be a cold reality. I can understand how that would make you feel abandoned and hurt. But he is just being honest with his feelings. Now you have to ask yourself, can I raise this baby alone? what will I do about my relationship with the father? well, those are some very painful questions to answer and I know you will do what you feel is right. Just make him understand how you feel, and why you want to keep it. Also let him know you expect him to own up to financial responsibility.
