My 4 month old is 13 pounds; I give her .4 ml. She did fine with the 2 month shots, and is having issues with the 4 month shots.

My son was 13 lbs, last week at the time of his 4 month shots, and the nurse told me to give him no more than 1.1 ml. I think at his 2 month shots, he got .6 ml. But I'll go check his little chart and confirm that....

Thanks. I guess I must have a big guy if he is already 12 lbs WOW!!!!! I guess my b___stmilk agrees with him. I will check back and see if thats is what you gave him. THANKS for checking

I didn't give my girl anything before her shots...I just nursed her immediately afterwards. With the 2 month shots, I never had to give her Tylenol; this time, I've already had to give it to her 3 times! :( I hate giving her medicine, I'm so nervous about overmedication.

Ok, so I cant confirm that! Must've thrown the little sheet away... Anyways, I did find a few "facts" regarding vaccinations..... Reactions are: redness, swelling/ tenderness at injection site, irritability/ fussiness.... Contact your Doctor if: Tylenol/ Tempra doesn't reduce fever, or if fever persists for more than 24 to 48 hours...... Help Baby Feel Better: place cool cloth at injection site, offer extra fluids (b. milk, formula, water or juice), dress in fewer layers of clothing. A fever should be anything greater than 38 degress celsius (100 degrees Farenheit). Normal body temp. should be 36.3 - 37.5 degrees celsius.

Oh, no Dawn!!! My guy was only 4lbs at birth! So when he was 2 months, he only weighed 8lbs 13 oz.

Jamie - December 11

Hmm...my daughter weighed 8 lbs at birth, and is now 13...but the dr. said she wasn't worried, since DH and I are both so tiny.

Chelsey - December 11

Gabriel is gaining weight really fast for a little guy! He tripled his birthweight in 3 months, most babies do it in a year. Hailey was only 5 lbs 9oz when born, and she weighed 14 lbs at 4 mos. Maybe little babies have bigger growth spurts?

Jamie - December 11

Could be...were they born early? Renity was born at 37 weeks and already weighed 8 lbs 1 oz...dr. said that if I hadn't been induced, and had gone to 40 weeks, she would've been close to 10 lbs????

Chelsey - December 11

Hailey was only 4 days early, and Gabriel was 5 weeks early. Gabriel wouldn't have been much bigger, even if he was born term. Guess I just have smaller babies!

Jamie - December 11

Looks that way! did you have easy labors?

Chelsey - December 11

The first pregnancy, labour was easy. With the second, I never even had a chance to go into labor, they took Gabriel out by c-section, for other reasons.

Jamie - December 11

I had a c-section, after 24 hours of labor with Renity. :( I wish I hadn't. But, you know what? I'm gonna stop hijacking Dawn's thread! lol

Yall are fine on here. I hopw we will survive tom. Well my lil one was 7lb 70z when born. By the time we left hospital he was down to 7lbs 2oz. Milk had not come in and he was strick b___st baby. I still do not suppliment. At 2 wk ck up he was 8lbs11oz. WOW!!!!!!!!! Last week he was 7wks. I stood on scale with gown on. Then put him in my arms and he was arownd 11 or 12lbs. I cant wait to get to dr tomm and weigh him. My pregnancy labor and all was a breeze. I had to push for an hour but got my epidural before contractions started and before he broke my water. Was induced 39wks because this was when my doc was on call. He was awsome.

My ped said .4 was safe when my daughter was 10 pounds at her 2 month appointment! Good luck and don't worry-my girl did great!
