My 2 month old, weighed in yesterday at 14 lbs 14oz, 95th percentile weight, 233/4 inches long, 75th percentile ht. He was 6 days late at 7lbs 12oz 22 inches long. neither mine or my hubbys family has any weight issues, but he is a chunkeroo, mostly just his cheeks. But I am tall and My own father is 6 foot 5 inches. But most of the babies in my family were chunks until a couple of years old. Doctors say he is healthy and perfect

my baby boy just turned 4 months and weighs 19 lbs and is 27 inches long. he was 10lbs 7oz at birth. His dad is 6'2 and weighs 260. But my doc didnt say anything about it. My baby is long and narrow. He's not fat at all. he's just really big. He's been eating 6oz every 1 1/2 hours for almost 3 months now.

my doctor said a similar thing at 4 mo. my daughter was 17lbs9 oz and 24 1/5 in. and at 6 mo. she is 19lbs 6 oz ans 27 in. it is more a concern that she will become obese dr. said cut back on formula and if she wants more to eat giver her juice and cereal or a veggie but every baby is differnt and as long as she isnt gaining too much you shouldnt worry

my drew is 5 months he weighed nearly 20lbs and was 28 inches long at his 4 month check up. Every one said it was because he was big at birth. he weighed 9lbs 1oz and was 21 3/4 long. i think it just varies. I think my baby is healthy and thats all.

My first son was always in the 99th percentile in height and weight. WIC told me when he was 2 months old I should limit what he ate. Like I was going to put a baby on a diet! My doc says pudgy babies are healthier as kids and adults, think puppy...If puppies get all they want to eat when they're young, they are less likely to overeat as adults, and pudgy babies have a lower chance of getting heart disease as adults too. So don't worry until she is much older.
