Anyone Just Have Baby Amp Want To TTC Again

i don't know if something is wrong with me, or what, but my baby is just 8 weeks old, and i have a STRONG desire, to want to try to have another baby already. (am i looney, or is there 1 person out there, who is with me??). i love my daughter to death. i just turned 30 and hubby is 44, and it took a long time, and fertility help to get our 1 baby, that is probobly why i have the desire so soon, just in case it takes lots of time. i got my period a week and 1/2 ago, and though i wanted my cycles back on track, it still made me sort of sad, not that i wasn't pregnant this instant, cause that isn't what i wanted then eigther, but i guess from ttc so long. we learn to HATE af!!! anyone in my boat?? sh__ly

I think we have this conversation at least twice a week with my better half. When the baby behaves she feels like having a couple more real soon, but when she gets fussy she says "I don't know how people handle twins". Little ones are addictive, but it's also a lot of work. I think we'd be doubly happy if we had another one soon..... I just don't know if we have the stamina for it :-)

Mine is only 3 weeks and we've talked about it also. I think I just miss the excitement of being pregnant and waiting to meet the baby. I loved being pregnant and really miss it. ( I know I am crazy) Then at night when were being kept awake I wonder what we are thinking to want to do this all over again.

i know! i want the thrill of the ++ pregnancy test, the movement the planning, the delivery. as much as i complained while i was pregnant, i totally do miss it, on the other note i can also agree with the 1st poster, when she is being so good, i think about having more the most, but i know when the 2nd baby comes, reality comes at you full blast! i just wish i had an idea of how long it would take us to get pregnant again. i'd hate to wait, and down the road find out, oppss it will take another 3 years, or not happen again at all, that is the problem. having a 1 year old and a newborn would certainly be hard as can be. i wonder if we will hear opinions from moms who have done it! thanks gals:) shelly

there is 2 years between my first two, and 2 years and 4 months between my 2nd and 3rd. i am still finding this time sort of difficult, i cannot imagine if they were any closer in age. the more they can do for themselves, the easier. not to mention all the jealousy issues. i've heard that children under 2 have a very hard time sharing mommy and daddy with another child. i would definitely recommend at least 2 to 3 years between each child. hope this helps :)

Honey, it's the pregnancy hormones. Don't listen to them. Give yourself at least a year and think about ttc again. This is coming from someone who wants another baby now. My son is 17months so I guess I can't give you any advice..........LOL.......Man, I love babies but not the hard pregnancies I have. Take care!!!
