My 2 1/2 week old sleeps all day and is up all night. I know this is common but I was wondering if any moms have any good ideas on how to fix him...hehehe. I have not slept much at all. I try to keep him awake but he is out like a log...then a party animal from midnight til about 5. ugh!!!!!!

Hi Jodie - I feel your pain!! I also have a 2 1/2 week old that likes to sleep during the day and likes to be up all night. We have been waking her often during the afternoon hours, and when it looks like she's hungry we wait 15 minutes before feeding her. This just keeps her up a bit longer during the day. We have been doing this for the past few days, and it seems to be helping! Hope some of that helps you.. it is so frustrating to not be able to sleep!

p.s. also undressing her seems to work well to wake her when she is sleeping heavily...

My daughter was doing that. We got it straightened out at almost 3 months.

Been there down that. Best advise is to wait. He will sort himself out. It took Kodi two months to do that. 3 1/2 months now and he finally sleeps at night and up in the days with light naps. YOu will be ok, best of luck. Best advise sleep when he sleeps. That is what I did. :)

Try not too let your baby take longer than 2 hour naps. Alway's have your blinds open, music on, make it really seem like daytime. Then at night making it very quit & dark. Maby put a fan n baby's room so it will make some white noise. It has worked well for me my son has slept through the night since he was 2 months old. Good luck :O)
