Hi - Matthew looks bored more and more often now - when I put him on his bouncer or on the swing. He seems to need more challenges, new interaction but I don't really know what to do. I got him some new books to look at, a hand puppet which he loves but he can play with these only for a while. He's teething at the moment and, instead of playing, he puts his fingers in his mouth and sucks them. Are there any good toys out there that I could get for him ? What do you do with your 4 months old ? Thanks :)

What about those activity gyms so he can develop his eye/hand coordination? I also ordered this for my daughter since she loved playing with the neighbors' http://tinyurl.com/7wecx

Or an exersaucer...this way he can stand up and bounce, turn, and play with a lot of different toys that stimulate most of his senses.

not sure if anyone has seen the new saucer from Bright Lights...its looks amazing...they are not out in stores yet but as soon as they come out I am buying one for Caleb.

BBK - he has an activity mat - which he likes but again, he can't be on that thing all day long... The saucer is a good idea - only I keep hearing that it isn't good for boys as it can damage the crotch....don't know what to think about it....

If that can damage their crotch(i truely doubt that)then so would the baby bjorn carrier and other things like that.

There are all kinds of fisher price toys out there. Amaya loves the peek a boo blocks! She also likes the fisherprice b___s that are clear and have little cars and trains and things in them. You roll them but the cars never turn upside down. Anyway, they have all kinds of big toys that go with those little ones. We just started Christmas shopping and got her the roll a round drop and roar dinosaur. She is also getting this new thing they have called the baby gymtastics play wall. There are all kinds of things out there, but if your really just want him to play for a while give him an empty water bottle with a few beans in it. Makes a great rattle and Amaya loves chewing on the lid (I guess since it is rigid) She will play with that for like 45 minutes before she realizes she is there by herself! Good luck!

Ok Fabienne's son is 4 months and Jesse is 10.5 weeks and is also getting bored with his swing,bounce chair and baby gym,he has the animal farm from F/P and the safari version.What other toys can you suggest?
