Hi Ladies, I have a 5 1/2 week old daughter who is losing hair on the left side of her head. She is also peeling there more than anywhere else on her head. Anyone else experience this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Jesse did this too!!! For a little while he looked like an "old" man,had only hair on the sides and nothing on top.But it all grew back,so it is normal for babies to lose hair,don't worry about it!!!

Not to worry. Baby hair is temporary. They get their permanent one after 6 mo of age. Just save some for the baby book if you can

Sometimes the hair will rub off on the side the baby sleeps on. Sometimes, too, the baby's head grows and the hair starts to look really thin because it's spread out. They all grow hair eventually, though.
