I would like to feed my new baby br___t milk but I want to feet him by bottle. I br___t fed my other son for 18 months and I could not get him to take a bottle. It's not only because of the pain and discomfort but also because I don't want my husband to miss out on the joy of midnight feedings and all that other fun stuff. Would it be to confusing for a baby to go back and forth from br___t to bottle?

Go to a local LaLecheLeague meeting. They will be able to help you with this. I went to my local meeting and have been very happy with the good information. Good luck, and enjoy your kids.

What I did with my baby was I pumped into a bottle when I could and fed the baby from that. That way, the baby is getting the nutrients and antibodies from the milk, but there is not nipple "confusion" from switching back and forth. Also, you don't have to deal with the cracked nipples either. (they're still tender from pumping though). Another advantage, since my baby was used to a bottle, if I didn't have time to pump, I could supplement with formula. It worked out perfectly. Hope this helps!
