My two week old son started having a very slight whistle sound when he breaths today, on and off. Ugh, I think it's the start of a cold, do you? I hope I'm wrong.

try using a nasal asperator (sp?), you know the blue suctiony thing, and see if that helps. i'd say that if it does help and he doesn't have any other symptoms, like a fever, sleeping more than normal, loss of appet_te etc. than don't worry about it.

My doctor told me a little wheezing during the first month was normal due to small amounts of fluid still in their lungs and needing to come out. Just keep an eye on his temp.
