www.coolbabysheets.com then go to the "Shop" link to see them all. The sheets are cool and all (or tacky) but haven't these people heard of the "back to sleep" campaign? Their home page features what is clearly a tummy-sleeping under one year old infant!

Ha ha....some of these seem like it would be scary for a toddler. Never seen anything like that. The baby on the home page does not look comfortable but maybe they did that becaue they didnt want show the babies face...who knows..... :)

Yea, I don't know when you were growing up monica, but I remember my mom and aunts always had some stories to scare the sh*t out of us. The skull sheets would have just kept me up all night..... we vowed not to tell scary stories to the baby :-)

BBK I saw on another thread that you would never give Anna oragel...what about hylands gel...do you feel the same way about all teething gels? what about the tablets?

I feel the same way about all "benzocaine" based gels. I would give it to her if needed, but I don't think it should be used as liberally as the label says. If I could show you the chem properties of benzocaine and cocaine side by side you'd have a hard time distinguishing the two. I certainly object to benzocaine being OTC. Hylands is hemeopathic I believe. Most homeopathic stuff is generally safer, but I personally doubt it's are nearly as effective as the drug based. You can try it though! Which tablets? Hyland? Same like the gel

I tried the hylands gel but I am not sure if it did anythig. I was scared of the oragel because I heard it numbs their mouth and baby can choke.the tablets I have not tried but I heard other mothers talk about how wonderful the hylands tablets are....

I looked at those sheets...cute, but I can't believe they want $36 for one sheet. You can get prints like that at walmart, and make a sheet for about $6 and an hour's worth of time.

I'd probably give them a try if the situation became unbearable. BTW, hyland boasts the "all natural" thing on their label which is meaningless. Not saying this is the case with them but many hardcore drugs are "all natural" :-)

I am just curious... BBK, if you don't mind me asking, what is your profession. I am somewhat new to this forum and I have read many of your posts and I am impressed. I think when I grow up I want to be like you.

TC thanks... are you under-aged? I'm in the pharmaceutical industry. I have an education in physiology and biochem. I started out in the research lab but moved to sales and product management (antibiotics).

No I am not under-aged!! LOL!! I will be 29 on the 28th. I always say that to people. I guess it is kind of hard to figure out if I'm kidding if you can't see me.
