My mum took Nadya to see her great grandmother this morning. I had a lovely time with Nadya, fed her, dressed her, played with her and kissed her chubby cheeks, but as they walked down the path and I closed the door behind them, I had a bit of a Macaulay Culkin "Home Alone" moment! I haven't had the house to myself for nearly 3 months. It felt sooo good to have a long, hot bath, without having to listen out for anyone! I put some loud music on and danced to it, without having to worry about disturbing anyone! Aahhh! They'll be gone for 2 more hours. I think I'll watch a movie. Bliss! :)

YOU GO GIRL! Are you still free as I type? I know you are 5 or 6 hrs ahead of me... I am counting the days until my in-laws move here and give me a GD break!

That's an awesome feeling. When my son is at grandmas I tend to walk in circles because I don't know how to act without the baby there. Getting a break once in awhile is so refreshing. Lucas is going to spend the night at his grandma's tonight, I'll get a full night's sleep. That always makes me feel better.

I can't wait to drive alone and blast some music! I miss that...

I do work, so I get to listen to the loud music once I drop him off, and it does feel good!

You go girl !! ENJOY IT. I find I am at a complete loss without Kodi around and any free time is spent on cleaning or running errands.

Oh yea going to the gas station which is les than five mins away has become the highlight of my social life actually it is my soical life :-

I have never been here in the house without the baby. I wonder what that feels like. I think I would be like Rachael and pace the floors wondering what to do. Good for you Lissi, enjoy yourself.

When I am home alone, I tip toe instinctively. It's horrible! And I have a list of things I am dying to do... take a long bath, try on all the clothes that no longer fit, just SIT with a huge cup of coffee... etc. And then I end up doing something stupid like bills.
