I am a HUGE Fisher Price fan. I highly recommend the peek-a-boo blocks and any of the additional toys that go with them. When my nephew turned a year old, my dady got him a drum set and we got him an electric guitar. He loves them both! He really loved the drums then but now he is playing more with our toy (he will be 2 in March) good luck and Happy Birthday!

My son wasn't even born yet when I bought his first birthday gift. I bought him a tractor riding toy. I can't wait to give it to him. I too love fisher price.

i love fisher-price toys too LOL....i baught alot of Little People stuff...they have the caslte,farm/zoo/parc/and fun park, they also have alot of peek a blocks...and the wagon/train/hippo that goes with it. my son started receiving them at his first bday too. my daughter well..they didnt have them yet when she was born..i cant remember what i baught her

I already cannot wait til my son's first birthday. I. too, like Fisher Price toys, they have so many options for a baby that age. My son's bday is in August, so I have decided his present from us will be a swing set with a baby swing. He will love that, and his grandmas will buy him the whole toystore, so he will not be lacking presents. He already has a ride on truck, battery operated, just waiting for him to be old enough to ride it!

aww well thank you all!! i will look thru the fisher price stuff as soon as i can (i think im going out tomorrow)..yeah i have some of the peek a boo b___s for him for christmas and his other grandmother has a ton of peek a boo blocks soo he is pretty good on that, but thanks for the responses!! :)
