I know people that have used Enfimil and said their babies were really gassy and spit up alot. I used both Enfimil and Similac with my son and found Enfimil also makes him extremely gassy and spitting up alot. He was completely miserable. Similac doesn't give him gas so I was just wondering what other peoples experiences are/were with Enfimil and Similac. Which one do you prefer for your baby? Has either formula caused any problems with your baby? Any other comments about formula?

i tried the similac advance w/iron on my baby and she was very ga__sy, and then i tried the similac soy and she was still ga__sy. she now drinks the infamil nutrimingen and she's doing very well on it. it's pricey but i don't care b/c as long as she's happy, we're happy.

my daughter was really ga__sy with enfamil, so my huband and i switced her to parants choice (walmart's store brand) since the switch she spits up less and is less ga__sy and it is about half the price i never used similac but my cousin has and her son was ga__sy with it and also is better with parants choice

every baby is different if yours does fine with similac dont bother trying to find a third brand to switch to my daughter was crabby when we stiched so it might be a good idea to alternae brands when stiching

Similac Adavance with Iron works best for my 3 month old! I also use Dr.Brown bottles which reduces spit up and gas...These bottles are great :O)

My daughter won't touch formula. I've had my husband try to give it to her, to give me a break from nursing, and it was not pleasant...lol. She took one mouthful and literally spit it out. She's refused it ever since.

Our pediatrician swears that Similac advance and Enfamil Lipil are identical. Our daughter only gets one feeding of formula (4 oz) every evening. Neither one enfamil or similac caused her extra gas but when we switched to similac she went two days without a bowel movement, which is unusual for her. Doc said it's normal to see changes when you make changes. Now she seems just fine with enfamil.

My baby is good with Similac Advanced with Iron.

my baby uses Good Start. Its seems better on his stomach. He only takes two bottle of it every 24 hours.

I use Enfalac but I also use Playtex bottles that are on angle and the air seeps out the other end. I find these bottles have helped rather than the traditional kind.

mine does great with goodstart...it doesnt have as many bubbles as other formulas so less ga__s and she does really good about not spitting up with it too.
