Last number of days my baby has become quite irritable, crys now and again. I would say it is more a wittering. He chews on babywipes, i assume because they are cold. Could this be that he is teething. He is 10 months old. I cant see any other signs. should i know the signs. its not like him, he hardly ever crys and he is never wittery but usually fairly calm and happy. This seems such a sudden change in him. It happened all most over night he seemed different.

The way I knew my kids were teething was they would be cranky, pulling at the ears, the gums would be slight puffy. You can try to press a clear gla__s cup against the bottom gums to see if they whiten up. usually you can see the teeth that are coming up.. Give the baby tylenol, this will ease the pain also. Freeze a bannana, bagel with jelly, he/she will love it..

he sounds like he's teething to me. my kids loved chomping on wet wash cloths, frozen waffles, and celery. hylands teething tablets were a godsend, but they don't work with every baby. i only gave tylenol at night when it seemed to get worse. during the day i'd do my best to distract them and comfort them. a little extra lovin goes a long way.
